My room did not have a fridge, and the front desk staff promised to provide one on the second day due to the medical supplies that needed to stay cool. However, after four days, there was still no fridge, and some staff members were rude when asked for basic medical support.
Staff are amazing they really go out of their way to help you in any way they can. They really went above and beyond for us which was greatly appreciated. Hotel is in a great location with plenty of shops, pubs and restaraunts around it. The train station is also close by so easy to get around the Metro centre is only 1 stop away. We will be back but next we'll get the train as driving in Newcastle is horrendous just now, too many roadworks and diversions.
Lovely stay in the centre of Newcastle. The hotel is clean and well maintained with excellent staff who all engage with guests. We didn't hear a cross word by the staff & all appeared to respect each other leading to a happy working environment which showed through. Whenever we met any staff, from cleaning staff to management, we were greeted with a smile and friendly word. All areas were kept clear of plates & glasses & we enjoyed sitting outside at the tables in the courtyard for a drink.
The room was very quiet overnight & air conditioning kept the room at the desired temperature. Definitely recommend this hotel.
All the amenities were super, and location is excellent for visiting the city centre .
Perhaps a bit noisy as our room overlooked the street on a Saturday night. Not the hotel's fault though!
Hotel is in convenient location, central areas of hoel clean but room appeared to be small double and not deluxe double as booked. Overall stay was good.
