Served the wrong evening meal, only an apology as I chose to eat less than half to avoid eating separately to my wife. On checking out I found the process abrupt and refused a VAT invoice saying it could not be done

Overall fine. The only downside was £10 per night parking on a rough area as main parking was full. Was also called by phone whilst out enjoying to move my car to accommodate coaches, this spoilt our first night. The hotel should review the parking issue giving priority to paying guests, not staff, and mark an area for coach parking.

Modern clean and friendly
Will definitely use this hotel again because of the staff and overall cleanliness and decor. The front desk and servers at breakfast could not have been more friendly and helpful. I travel a lot and don’t always have such a welcoming atmosphere! The ladies at breakfast were particularly amiable.
