Property was great. Noise from the street at night made it difficult to sleep. There were loud motorcycles and hotrods racing up the hill all night. We were in room 2924.

I've stayed at this property many times . This was the worst trip. Terribke room location, room wasn't clean, they charge for clean towels now unless you wash your own.

Old and tired.
I have been coming to this property for 30 years and the units are getting old and plain tired. They are in need of a major renovation. The grounds are well maintained and the views are excellent.

Staff was amazing. Our villa was on ground level and there were bugs on the floor. In addition, there were loud kids running around above us all night and the walls were thin. But the room was nice and big. Very nice. The property is beautiful and parking was great.

Terrible service from Male Manager
Well this is our 5th time staying at the Marriot Newport Coast Villas and have always requested to NOT be in the 2900 building or 3400 building because of the loud car noise and engines revving from the main road - and everytime at check in no matter if it’s a Monday or Wednesday etc they say they are at FULL capacity and can’t accommodate that - now we have stayed various off months throughout the year and recently stayed and were stuck again in the 2900 building with loud cars, motorcycles and we had to go buy a fan to block out the noise. We booked 2 nights a Monday and Tuesday and again we please requested to NOT be in the 2900 or 3400 building and at Check in Yousef said he saw that request but all they had was the 2900 or 3400 building. We couldn’t believe it! The hotel was not busy, not fully booked by any means and we were so confused and bummed out - so he asked if we wanted to speak with a manager and we said yes please. The male manager came out and laughed at us and said you booked thru Expedia! The only rooms are in the 2900 and 3400 for booking thru a 3rd party! He announced it to everyone that was standing in the lobby and I was so humiliated. I told the male manager that I had been a long time member of Hotels.com and always booked through them and had no idea that by using them, I would only ever get the very UNDESIRABLE rooms. Wow! I had no idea that’s how it worked and made us feel less than because we didn’t book directly thru marriot.com

Facilities were noisy throughout the weekend. Oven fan was broken rendering the oven inoperable. Facility was unable to repair and offered little compensation, indicating that because the stay was done 3rd party they couldn’t do much.

It was very clean and beautiful but no elevators and I had huge luggage and was not offered assistance when I checked in nor was I told there was no elevator. I had to carry down a huge long flight of stairs both up and down upon check out in heels. Not a great experience
