Not safe,no cellular connection, poorly lit 2 flights of steps at bottom of hill, did not stay......
Nothing liked described on vrbo, not an oasis a nightmare!Had to go to the street to call for help on my cell. Texted owner and voiced my complaints and said I had to leave not safe to stay.My two witnesses who picked me up agreed I asked for a return of my money owner offered me a cleaning fee. My bank will be disputing this charge. I have never used vrbo before. never stayed at a place where owner did not meet me to explain how unit functions. I was having surgery the next morning. Kitchen had a 3 ft refrig no sink, no stove, not even a fresh bottle of water. Obviously vrbo did not check out this place and did not offer to return my money. Vrbo rep said we understand how you feel. I took 2 planes to get to ca both were delayed.It was dark when I arrived.....I needed help taking my suicase down the steps....not adequately lit.

decided to spend a couple nights in Newport Beach area and we could not have picked a better place - as we love crystal cove park (walking distance) and the neighboring restaurants which were a short drive from home base. Very quiet and it felt like we were living in a tree house. Saw some interesting birds on the grounds as a bonus.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The property is set back in a very picturesque setting. Very beautiful and quaint. My only complaint is that we heard all the noise from upstairs. There is a permanent family living upstairs. When the kids fight, we could hear ever word.

Wonderful little gem in a fabulous location!
Walkable and a short drive to so many activities; beaches, boating, restaurants, hiking trails, shopping. The yard and room were so tranquil and peaceful with the background sound of running water and green foliage. Recommend!!

Property is adorable. Perfect for a single or couple. I had a few hiccups with internet(my wrror).make sure you have the interbet cose to log on handy because i couldn't access any info since my 5G was in a dead zone. Alsi keep in mind you need to heat the unit with the space heater since the thermostat works for 2 units and you cant adjust. Im always cold, so i needed the heater goung all night. error) abd they immediately assisted.

Vrbo review. “The listing advertised an outdoor dining area with a BBQ, but it was located with the upstairs unit, not ours. It didn’t feel appropriate to use a space that belonged to someone else’s rental, so we couldn’t cook at the property. Also, soundproofing is an issue—you can hear everything happening in the upstairs unit. While a couple of minutes of ‘activity’ might be funny, an hour of it when you’re trying to sleep is not. The location is great, but there are other properties at comparable prices with better reviews in the area”

Peaceful sanctuary, windows looking out to an array of trees. Walking distance to restaurants and breathtaking beaches(perfect for tidepooling). Clean linens and comfy bed. Backyard is a fascinating knoll by a creek.

Great location and property. However, I’d like to suggest that the property manager supply disposable paper plates and utensils to use instead of having an outside dishwashing station with the hose. Hot water and soap are important to keeping dishes sanitary. The place overall is great, but needs renovations. Although location is what they got. We enjoyed our stay.
