We loved this place! It was clean and cozy! They have a fun hang out area with a fridge and coffee with couches! We can’t recommend this place enough!

Absolutely wonderful stay at Town & Tide! The staff provide 5 star service and attention to detail. They are hospitality experts, checked in often and went the extra mile to ensure we had a great stay (wrapped up a breakfast, provided early check in, etc). There is a gorgeous pond and plenty of places to sit and relax in the well shaded courtyard. The shed is another sitting area set up with amenities for guests that we enjoyed. The rooms themselves are comfortable, modern, and impeccably clean. The property location couldn’t be better if you’re looking for central but not noisy. You can catch the free shuttle bus one block away. Parking at the inn is convenient. We will definitely return!

Maria, Kathy and the rest of the staff were welcoming, kind and helpful. Breakfast was outstanding all 5 days we were there! The rooms were tastefully decorated and updated well. The property was very centrally located on the main street, therefore we were able to walk to the beach and downtown within 20 min. My only complaint would be that our room stayed extremely cold and we were unable to easily adjust the thermostat. We loved our stay at Town&Tide Inn and would definitely recommend to anyone interested in a Newport B&B!!

Best Newport b&b that I've found
This place was the best b&b that I've found in Newport. Clean and new with a very nice staff, really tasty breakfasts, and beautiful, quiet "hidden" garden with seating. The only thing lacking in the room was a proper mini refrigerator, microwave and table to chill drinks/ warm food, or have a quiet in-room snack. I often get in late after a 5 hour train ride when most restaurants are closed so eating out isn't possible. The room was spacious enough to have accommodated these small amenities. Everything else was really perfect.

We had a great stay at Town and Tide Inn! Super clean, beautiful outdoor garden space, spacious rooms, friendly staff, amazing breakfast, free parking on property, and conveniently located to many things to do. The Cliff Walk is just minutes from the front door, and it’s an easy walk to the wharf for lots of dining options. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful gem!
What a fabulous stay we just had! This was our first time in Newport and from the moment we checked in Cathy, Maria and the entire staff were so wonderful. Cathy was so helpful and told us all the places we had to see right off the bat. Both her and Maria were so friendly and happy, it was such a pleasure! The breakfast that was included was so delicious, cooked fresh every morning. The room was spacious, clean, airy and bright. The shower was big and the bath products were high end. Comfortable beds and nice and quiet at night which was great. Thank you to Cathy and Maria and everyone at The Town and Tide for really making our stay in Newport so enjoyable. The location was perfect, close to the beaches and the Cliff Walk but also not too far from downtown. Highly recommend!

If I could give this 100 stars I would! The staff at Town and Tide are outstanding! The gardens are gorgeous--like a calming place. Our room is super-clean and comfortable. I feel like family here. Breakfast is served daily and more than delicious--anything we need, the inn manager goes out of her way to help. This visit has made our trip to Newport better than I could have imagined! In a great position half way between the beach and the town so we never needed to move the car as we could walk everywhere. The room was lovely and bright with a small patio outside. we took advantage of The Shed in the garden which had a fridge and coffee making facilities.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Town and Tide Inn in Newport! The inn was charming and comfortable. The Inn is very clean. The proximity to restaurants and the beach was outstanding, but what truly made our stay special was the exceptional service provided by Maria, our innkeeper. She went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met and made us feel right at home. The daily breakfast was a highlight of our stay, with delicious dishes prepared fresh each morning. The food was outstanding, and Maria's warm smile and friendly conversation added to the enjoyment of our stay. We highly recommend the Town and Tide Inn to anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming getaway in Newport. Maria's hospitality and the inn's warm atmosphere made our stay truly unforgettable. We can't wait to return!
