We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was bright, spacious, and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was newly renovated and beautiful. The breakfast was incredible and the Innkeeper Mara w a s charming and accommodating. Would definitely recommend and would love to return for a longer stay.

Very cute property. Well-maintained but the cleaner used or fabric softener in the bedding smelled so strongly I had a headache during the entire stay.

Bedding and Bathroom were Great.
I enjoyed myself so much I was sorry I didn’t book a second night. Our room was immaculately, clean the bedding and linens were top notch. I did not expect the bathroom and shower to be so spacious and the finishes were excellent. The breakfast was very good, but I would suggest giving people The option of two choices for breakfast.

Nice house with good shower. Excellent breakfast. We woke up to a cold room on our first day on the 3rd floor and noticed the heat was turned off—only air conditioning on. We mentioned it to the staff and they said they could turn heat on for the 2nd floor and the heat would rise: that helped a little. We were offered an extra blanket that helped but did not warm the bathroom. Another problem was room 3. The door did not set in the frame allowing the light outside the door to directly shine into the room all night long. We had to hang a towel on top of the door and use clothing to block most of the light.

We booked two nights but only stayed one because our room was was so cold and the heat in the old house does not work on the second floor. Sadly, this place was bought by a big corporation that remodels and makes it feel too modern, removes all of its original charm and charges way too much to stay there. Good breakfast though. I should be refunded for the second night I paid for. Very disappointed

LOVED Town & Tide!! It was our first trip to Newport and this was a perfect place to stay. Easy walks to pretty much anywhere, and parking wasn't difficult at all.

We loved our stay here! Perfect location! 10 min walk to beach and cliff walk and 10 min walk to Thames street. The host staff was fantastic. Breakfasts were so yummy. Highly recommend!
