Location, location, location. Property is a basic hotel. Nothing special and nothing terrible. The location is top notch. Right across the street from the park and everywhere was walkable. Food and sights are right at your finger tips.

Niagara Falls (both american side and canadian side) are within walking distance of this property. You couldn't stay closer to the Niagara falls in any other hotel (on the american side). It wasn't clear when i made the reservation, but latter i figured out that the price included a breakfast buffett (egg, protein, coffee, waffles, bread, cereal, etc) The property includes a basic gym. I read some other reviews about some of the staff members being unpolite, but my opinion is that you will get what you give. If you spit bitter, you will get bitterness. Ask thing gentle and smile to the staff and you will get a smile back. Some other reviews complained about the cleanliness of the rooms, but our was clean. The only but is that the bath tube's floor looked stained and there was no mat on it. If you are driving your own car, there is plenty of space on their parking lot. If you are flying to BUF, just outside BUF you can ride a Flix bus, and it will leave you few feet from this hotel. Make your reservation for the Flix bus online, as there is high demand for it. Within the hotel property, there are a couple of food trucks offering indian options and american options (hot dogs, hamburgers, etc). This is pretty convenience, especially because they are open until late. A non-advertised gem of this hotel is that during the evening they offer a complimentary bowl of soup and coffe.

There was no one at front office a time of checking, had to wait 30 mins before the attendant showed up. They have not returned the security deposit and I am not getting clear answers even after multiple follow ups

I liked how close this property was to Niagara Falls, it was very easy to walk to the vantage spots. The hotel was generally clean but very dated and run down, the night clerk when we checked in , basically ignored us and it was a major hassle for him to check us in at 8.30 pm at night. No blockout curtains in the room so people can see in , very noisy air conditioner had to turn off to get to sleep.

The most difficult thing was getting there after dark - the address (used for the GPS) is not the entrance to the hotel so we had to drive around to find it. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Terrible, they had bugs on the bed, Bathroom lock was broken we got locked out, when we informed about the bug the front desk asked us to kill it and sleep on it, No microwave in the room, Asked us to use lobby microwave and it was filthy, molds all around so stinky,, Bed sheets were horrible, Stain on the comforter, when asked front desk she said it's not her job to see if room is clean or not and she cannot do anything about it.

The proximity to the American Falls is incredible! It is truly a short and relatively easy walk! As for the hotel, at check-in we specifically asked for a room on the back side of the building but neither of the people at the front desk could say which rooms faced the back side. We got to our assigned room only to find it faced the front parking lot. We tried to get it changed to a back side room but the front desk attendant said “no”. As for the room itself…the carpet was thread bare and torn in several areas, the charging ports available were too lose and would not hold a charger’s prongs so there was no “in room” charging available, the plumbing under the bathroom sink was exposed and not very attractive, there was no soap in the room and the plug for the bath tub was sitting on the tub ledge (apparently broken) and the tub drained slowly while taking a shower. Not a very impressive place to stay at but the walking distance to the falls made up for what was lacking.

Booked 5 rooms for an overnight stay at Comfort Inn The Pointe 11/1-11/2. 4 rooms are ok but my brother’s room has a lot of lady bugs & other insects in the ceiling. There is even a nest of the lady bugs in one corner of the ceiling. called frontdesk and they sent a guy to manually remove the bugs as he said he cannot spray chemicals. we travelled for more than 8 hrs and was exhausted already when we discovered it so my brothers family didnt want to move and changing rooms was not given as an option by the frontdesk. My nephew also reported having key issues that he has to go back and forth to front desk & their room but everytime they give him new keys it doesnt work until frontdesk used their master key to let him in the room. That morning before we left, I spoke to the manager Amber and told her what happened with the bugs & key issue. She told me bec I booked through Expedia, I have to call them & ask for a refund on 1 of the rooms. She gave me her card & I called Expedia. Expedia tried to get in touch with the Manager but they were not able to reach her after multiple tries. I emailed Manager Amber 2x to follow up and request to cooperate with Expedia to process my refund. no reply. called Expedia again after a few days to follow up finally got in touch with the Manager who only approved a $30 refund. I booked the rooms for more than $179 per night (per room) and that is the only amount they are refunding me! Expedia gave me courtesy credit of $50. Wont come back.
