The Good: The woman who helped us check in was THE BEST!! Kudos on the efficiency and anticipating needs/questions. Really friendly too - well done. The Opportunities: The room however is a little dated looking with messy finishes and could be cleaner - great view but the sink doesn’t drain. Could be better considering the cost for a night.

The bar tenders were rude and obviously assumed I was planning on taking the free drink and leaving. They even blocked the barstools off. I would have stayed and purchased drinks had I felt welcomed. We also purchased a tour and while waiting past our time because it started late, my wife went to set by the counter on a bench and was very rudley told, "No, you stand here!" by a custodian. I understand she was working in the area but the timing was terrible and there was no need for the rudeness. I felt the staff at the desk was condescending. In compartison, we stayed at a comparable hotel in Detroit and I have nothing but great reviews. In all fairness, there were some staff that went above and beyond at the elevators.

The property was exactly as pictured, view of the entire falls was beautiful, room was very clean only downfall I had was most of the outlets were loose so it was somewhat hard to use them. They do have valet parking for 100 cad I believe 135 including tax a day, self parking on site I believe was available but overpriced as well. They have offsite parking 35 a day which is very convenient as well, walkable distance but also offer shuttle service. Every time I parked the shuttle would pull up to me before I even exited the car for me to get on, definitely worth it.
