We had three room reservations. Two were ready early which was nice. The third room was not ready at 3 nor was it ready at 4 when we left for our function. The rooms really need to be updated. There is no vanity in the washrooms. Just a three tiered metal basket craft holder. Not really safe for using electrical hair appliances- no where to safely place them. There is no closet either. Just a small armoire when you first walk into the room which is behind the door. It is no where near the bedroom. One good thing about the king suite was that the seating area was spacious.

The property was perfect for a girls getaway. The only issue we had was the hockey teams that were allowed to run wild throughout the hotel all weekend. We tried to use the pool at 9pm at night after 10 minutes we were joined by 20 unsupervised 10 year old boys roughhousing. We ended up leaving after 10 minutes. We reported it to the front desk as we watched as one almost cracked his head on the side of the pool but nothing was done.

This was the absolute worst and most unsafe hotel stay I have ever had. We were in town for a wedding and there were youth hockey teams staying at the hotel as well. These kids were between the ages of 7-16 and it was at least 60 kids who were unattended while their parents/chaperones were drinking beer and playing loud music all night until 4:30am. These kids were running around the hotel with hockey sticks, smacking balls into hockey nets they set up in common hallways while guests were walking in the hallways. I tripped over 1 of them and a member of my family was hit in the face with a ball. The kids trashed the hotel pool, threw the pool lounge chairs into the pool and put shampoo all over the pool deck floors so people would slip. They had to shut down the pool and no guests could use it. Hospital staff did nothing but claimed they had security guards. I saw 1 security guard 1 time during my weekend stay and that was at 1am in the morning while he was hiding in the stairwell texting on his phone. This was the worst stay I have ever had in my life.

Convenient location while visiting family. It is surrounded by student housing, but zero issues with crowds of kids. I personally didn’t spend alot of time on the premises to expore everything the hotel offered, but it appeared other guests found lots to do. The room I had on the 4th floor was very quiet and I couldn’t hear alot of noise from the hallways. The room itself was spacious and clean, however, the king bed has seen better days, very worn in the middle. With that said, I would recommend this hotel and I would stay again.

The property needs some attention to detail. Overall the beds were comfortable and the shower stall was very nice- good water pressure. Sadly, elevators were dysfunctional the entire stay. The luggage carts need replacement. Our bathroom ceiling drywall was coming apart. Blonde Hairs from a previous guest on the sleeper sofa. Constant noise at all hours. There were families living in the hotel for extended stay? Not sure how this can be a BONVOY Property. It’s very dated. Wouldn’t stay here again but instead would stay up in Niagara on the Lake and commute. This property has alot of potential given its size and location but it feels rundown. Sorry to say.
