This room is upstairs and once was the infant's nurse's room, in this Civil War house. Abandoned and left to ruin, the owners are rescuing her, and leaving her story for you to see. Now run as a bed and breakfast along a tradition English style. This is a unique living museum experience that immerses you in time and lets you discover the history behind Niagara Falls. Please remember to read the house rules, and book your check in tour upon arrival, this is so we can arrange staff and ensure a warm welcome.

Historical B&B
The house was quirky and full of history. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast amazing. Katherine, the hostess, was engaging and extremely knowledgeable. She loved her house, the area and gave perfect instructions for us to get the most out of our Niagara Falls experience.
The casino is definitely in walking distance IF you feel safe walking down an unlit alley. The area is sketchy to say the least but the property was ok. This is a historic home for sure and not modern by any means but we loved it!

Katherine has a house that was built during civil war. The furnishings are during that time and interesting to stay in the house. Katherine allso provided breakfast for you. We liked the idea that the stay is not your run of the mill housing as a motel. The stay will give us memories that we will not forget for a long time.

Great Stay
Lovely historic home - more unique than an ordinary hotel stay. Walking distance to the Falls. Some nice restaurants around the corner.

Illuminating, interesting, and innovatively presented in its antiquity.
#1) Understand 1st that not all properties constructed in the mid-1860's look like something from "Gone with the Wind. " Idioms like "don't judge a book by its cover, " also jump to my mind.
The Aaron House is in a depressed, nearly impoverished area (as is most of Niagara Falls, USA) BUT --in true American spirit-- still endeavors to offer its very best. The heritage of this dwelling, the history of this destination and the honesty flowing heroically from its keepers regarding both (history and heritage) make The Aaron House a "have-to" visit while in Niagara Falls.
The Falls are beautiful and majestic, yes. This fact is undisputed. But, while staying at the Aaron House, one is immersed in the evolution of how/why & what things occur to exploit, rejuvenate, ruin and rescue both natural phenomenons and communities.
Trust your host's advice on exploring the Cave of the Winds prior to the Maids of the Mist (the provided sandals at one are a life saver at the other.) Also, take some time to read (or ask of your host) about the history of the town. From indigenous persons to its economic height to its fall and struggle to survive, you will experience Niagara Falls with a greater and multi-faceted depth of appreciation one will not receive from any other accommodation in the area.
