This was our first 2 nights of a 2 week honeymoon. The staff was very friendly and overall the property was quaint, but the rooms themselves were a bit too small and outdated. It definitely has a Euro bed and breakfast vibe to it, so if you like that thing, go for it. Negative: The showers were very small and temperamental. The curtains did a poor job of keeping water in the showers, so both showers would leak water into the rest of bathroom.

Don't be fooled by the photo
We were given a tiny room on the ground floor next to reception - it really should have been a single. The room was tired and not very welcoming - there was laminate missing from the tea / coffee making area, the door frame in the bathroom was so rotten at the bottom, the hinge was barely attached. The icing on the cake was the lack of hot water in the shower - it was a bank holiday in France, the hotel had no alternative rooms and the Busby they proposed to move us to had awful reviews. We stayed the night ( enduring the tepid water) and found an alternative for the second night of our stay. To be fair, the staff were polite and helpful and offered a room reduction for the nigh we stayed.

air conditioner was broken and they could not fix. hôtel staff was not pleasant. basically accosted us as we were leaving early morning demanding we settle bill when we tried to explain we had done it the night before because of our early departure. treated very rudely. grand prix weekend and we just needed a place to lay our heads so it sufficed but i’d never stay there otherwise.
