The houseboat has a lovely spot in Marina Westhoek and offers an unobstructed view of a canal and a meadow. Here you are greeted by a wonderful houseboat with modern and minimalist furnishings, as well as sun loungers on the open terrace for sunbathing or tanning and total relaxation.

Discover the long-established fishing village, which has developed into a large town with two marinas. Enjoy the long beaches, the rolling dunes and the salty North Sea air. Culinary delights include seafood such as mussels, prawns and even easily available lobster. A Flemish dream in combination with the right beer! There are also many quirky statues and remnants of the city's medieval heritage to discover.

Schöne neue Erfahrung auf einem Hausboot.
Die Anreise und die Übergabe vom sehr netten und freundlichen Hafenmeister war topp. Der Bereich des Hafens wo die Boote liegen könnte bisschen ordentlicher sein. Den Abfall zu der entsprechenden Müllbereich war nicht angenehm. Das Hausboot war innen sehr gut vorbereitet und sauber. Leider war es von aussen nicht so, sehr viele Spinnenweben und Spinnen. Das Boot heizt sich sehr stark auf obwohl es noch nicht so extrem heiß war. Die Bilder passen nicht mehr zu der aktuelle Lage. Aber Alles in Allem war es ein toller Urlaub. Die gesamte Umgebung ist sehr schön. Einkaufen und Tanken in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Entschleunigung in kurzer Zeit
Wir hatten das Hausboot für 4 Tage über ein langes Wochenende gebucht. Übergabe/einchecken/auschecken ist sehr unproblematisch und nett. Die Lage ist sehr schön und ruhig. Beinahe Rundumsicht durch die großen Fenster, schön anzuschauen. Gute Einrichtung, das Bett etwas kantig und sehr weiche Matratze. Mit dem Fahrrad ist der Ortskern über einen schönen Weg zu erreichen. Eine Fahrradfahrt durch die Polder entlang der Kanäle ist wunderbar. Es ging leider nicht, aber tatsächlich wären wir gerne noch ein paar Tage geblieben.
