Great Time!
My son and I flew from the west coast for the Notre Dame game. The house location was 20 minute ride to the stadium. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and clean. The house is great and is lake side with a beautiful relaxing view. Great experience!

Great Barron Lake home!
We booked the Lilly pad for 5 weeks and were loved every minute! The house was clean, comfortable, had a great beach for our grandkids to play and was well equipped with everything we needed. We used to live on Barron Lake when we raised our family before retiring to Florida. We loved the lake life so much we bought a house while we were there! Thanks Lauren and The Lilly Pad for a great summer

Fun getaway to the lake
We had a nice visit in Niles, Michigan at Lauren's cottage. It was very clean and well stocked with items we needed in the bathrooms, kitchen and laundry room. The owner is very responsive when we had questions. It was peaceful to sit outside at the lake. My family enjoyed the water and the beautiful view. There were a few minor inconveniences during our stay. The upstairs bedroom remained quite hot, even with the A/C on. The propane tank was empty so we were unable to grill our dinner. We recommend bringing your own drinking water. Overall, we did have a very nice time for the three nights we were there. We made some great memories and we thank Lauren for letting us visit.

Beautifully decorated. Kitchen appliances and utensils well stocked. Very clean, charming and peaceful. No closets or dressers in bedrooms was an inconvenience. Other than that a very nice stay!

Nice stay for graduation weekend
Home was very clean and the photos do a good job of showing the interior and location. We were in town for the Notre Dame graduation which was a convenient 30 minutes away and gave us a nice peaceful location to retreat to. Lauren was very quick to answer my questions and a lovely host.

Beautiful cottage, very comfy beds, lots of sand for kids to play in…paddle boards, kayaks, and inflatables provided…LOVED the decor and the towels/linens were very cute! This cottage had everything we needed and wanted! (The only note I have is if you have toddlers, a gate might be helpful with the stairs - mine kept trying to climb, haha). Thanks Lauren!!

Perfect Lilly Pad Place
Because most of our family are local but son John travels for work and only gets back here once or twice a year so we try to do a VRBO every summer. This was everything we hoped for. Beach area was perfect for little sand castle builders. The lake and weather we just the best. We were very pleased with the cottage with all the cozy amenities. Wish we could have stayed longer

Weekend getaway
My wife and two of our close friends stayed here for a parents weekend away. I was very pleased with how beautiful the lake was, we sat around for hours visiting out on the deck. Plenty of restaurants near by as Niles is close to South Bend and Mishawaka. Although the best food we had was a Iron Shoe Distillery right in Niles. The house itself we honestly didn’t spend much time in, but the overall feel was welcoming. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, the bedroom upstairs got pretty warm at night even with a/c going but wasn’t too bad at all. Check in and check out process was easy and the communication was very good when I had questions. Would definitely consider staying again.

Great short getaway
This property was just as described. Love how it’s right on the lake and has its own private beach and pier. Went to dinner at the Iron Shoe Distillery, also recommend! Ate all our other meals at the cottage. Perfect for our little getaway for our 20th Anniversary. We even included our kids.😉😍

Great weekend
We had a wonderful weekend here! The house is clean and beautiful, and well stocked with everything we needed. Amazing location with a gorgeous view of the lake. Having a small private beach area was fantastic, we loved swimming in the lake, and just sitting on the deck enjoying the view. Host is lovely, very friendly and quick to respond to messages. Everything went so smoothly, we hope we can book a longer stay again soon!

Beautiful house on the lake!!!
We spent a couple days at this property to celebrate my moms birthday with the family and our two little dogs. We loved the house so much-everything was clean, great space, comfy beds, great outdoor deck spaced with a cute little tiki bar.. and the amazing lake right outside where we swam & fished all day & night! My nephew really enjoyed himself as all of us did as well! The neighbors were super friendly too! Lauren was an amazing host, so friendly and answered all my questions I had very fast! I can't say enough about this property but if your looking for a great time, book it! Lauren thank you so much & we will definitely be back soon! Appreciate you sharing your home with us!!!!
