Villa Vaglio is an old Piedmontese farmhouse that was built in the late 1890s. It is in a solitary location on the crest of a well-tended private property in the middle of the vineyards of the UNESCO World Heritage Zone. The town of Nizza Monferrato with its 10 500 inhabitants and good infrastructure is only three minutes away by car. A wonderful panoramic view of the gentle hills of the Alto Monferrato and the spaciousness of 450 square meters let you spend a relaxing holiday. There is plenty of space here to live and enjoy. Dining at a long walnut table (under an original ceiling painting) of what was prepared in the large kitchen. There is a second open kitchen and a large living room with direct access to the wooden terrace (50 sqm) with pergola on the 1st OG. A small living room on the ground floor - with a large window, a cozy reading room with an open fireplace (and lots of reading), a large living room on the 1st Upper floor with panoramic window - no matter where you are, there are many great insights and prospects. The house is ideal for family reunions or groups of friends. Relaxing in hammocks, bocce on your own lane or swimming in the 10-meter pool, barbecuing in the patio, whizzing on a large meadow in front of the house, dreaming between olive trees - the 3-hectare hill without direct neighbors is a little paradise in itself. Equipped with historical materials. Discover the wines, truffles and other sights and tastes of Piedmont in slow food style (was founded here). Alba, Asti and Barolo are only about 25 km away. Turin, Genoa or Milan can be reached in 1.25 hours or less. The beaches of the Riviera tempt you in the morning as an excursion, in the evening you can look forward to the tranquility and vastness of the gentle Piedmont landscape, which is also framed by the snow mountains of the Maritime Alps in summer. You are welcome to return to Villa Vaglio after wonderful excursions, which will quickly become your own comfortable home.

Fantastic Villa in amazing location with great hosts
Beautiful and expansive Villa with a great view and in a quiet location. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The grounds are covered with fruit trees and the sunrises from the Villa are spectacular. Our group had a wonderful time and hope to come back soon!

Wunderschönes und perfekt ausgestattetes Haus
Unsere Gruppe von 12 Personen und einem Baby hatte einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus! Das Haus mit der wunderschönen Aussicht auf die Weinberge des Piemonts war für uns perfekt. Alle Zimmer sind gleichwertig schön und bieten viel Komfort. Die Besitzer:innen haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und waren stets bereit, uns mit Tipps zu unterstützen. Wir hatten schon häufig Ferienhäuser gemietet, aber noch nie war ein Haus so gut ausgestattet wie dieses: die Küche mit den Kühlschränken, der Eismaschine, dem Pizzaofen oder die Vielzahl an Freizeitmöglichkeiten wie Boccia, Kubb, Tischtennis und E-Bikes. Wir freuen uns bereits darauf, wiederzukommen!

Ett riktigt paradis
Huset lovar nästan mer än bilderna och den hade allt med härlig inredning och stil och en perfekt pool och underbar utsikt och gott med platser både ute och inne. Birgit är en fantastiskt trevlig och hjälpsam uthyrare vilket gjorde allt super smidigt. Rekommenderar även förbokade vingårdsbesök på La Barbatella och La Serra Ventorinovini som ligger nära huset. Åker man till Barolo så boka en vinprovning på Bric Cenciurio. Vi kommer absolut åka tillbaka till detta fantastiska hus, tack för en härlig vecka Birgit och Christian.

Wunderbares Landhaus
Das Landhaus ist sehr geschmackvoll und durchdacht renoviert. Wir waren 12 Erwachsene - aber auch für 15 Erwachsene hätte es in diesem Haus noch mehr als genug Platz und Privatsphäre.
Die Küche ist grossartig. Es hat alles. Und alle haben Platz darin zum Kochen. (Eine zweite, im ersten Obergeschoss gelegene, auch schöne Wohn-Küche haben wir nie genutzt)
Hinter dem Haus steht keine anonyme Agentur, sondern ein Besitzerpaar, welches sich mit Liebe um das Haus sorgt. Dies fühlt und sieht man. Wer will kriegt von Birgit und Christian so viele Tipps er/sie will. Fragen lohnt sich. Birgit hat uns sogar eine Weindegustation organisiert.

Ferien mit der Steelband
Haben in Nizza Monferrato unvergessliche Ferien verbracht.
Wir ( 13 Erwachsene und zwei Kinder) haben uns in der Villa sofort wohl gefühlt.
Leider haben wir Birgit und Christian nicht persönlich kennengelernt - trotzdem waren sie die perfekten Gastgeber!
Die Villa ist mit soviel Liebe zum Detail renoviert und wunderschön eingerichtet, und es fehlte uns an nichts.
Bei schlechtem Wetter haben wir es uns vor dem Kamin gemütlich gemacht... es hat drei davon!!!
In der grossen Küche im Erdgeschoss kann man gemütlich mit Freunden kochen und danach an der langen Tafel vor dem Haus den Tag ausklingen lassen.
Da das Haus auf einem Hügel liegt, konnten wir ohne jemanden zu stören musizieren, mal vor dem Haus, mal auf der wunderschönen Veranda, mal hinter dem Haus unter den Nussbäumen!!!!
Nochmals vielen lieben Dank an Birgit und Christian - es kann gut sein, dass wir Wiederkommen!!!!
