"My twin brother and I celebrated birthday together with the family over a weekend in September in this beautiful home. It was comfortable, cozy, well-equipped, quiet, and just a perfect family weekend together. Our host, Brian, was really great with specific, clear communication about the property, the community rules, and access; and the home was spotless when we arrived (and hopefully just as spotless when we left... we'd like to come back!) The views of Mt. Baker through the forest from in front of the fireplace were like a postcard! We enjoyed fire-pit time early each morning with coffee, spent our days hiking the beautiful trails around Snowline and along the Nooksack river, as well as trail adventures up around Mt. Baker. The kitchen was well equipped to make meals for 8 of us, plenty of room at the dining table for meals and then games after dinner. We all had fun with the air-hockey table and arcade game in the loft. When it's time for me to buy my own cabin in the woods... I'll be looking for something just like this.
