I booked the Radisson Blu for one week for my husband and I. We have stayed on the island in an Airbnb home in San Nicolas prior to this stay. The hotel is located at the end of Palm beach, behind the Holiday Inn. It is not beach front, and we were aware of this. They have a limited number of beach chairs and umbrellas which are set up as you arrive on Mammbo beach. The area is small and directly in front of Mammbo beach bar. The beach attendant, Ramone was very kind and a very hard worker! He does his best to satisfy everyone, however there is just not enough space. We only went to this beach the first day of our week long vacation as the umbrellas are set up at an angle making your view not very desirable. We rented a car which allowed us to go to other beaches. All staff we encountered was kind and helpful. We showed up at 1:30pm and were happily checked into our ocean view room on the 10th floor. The ro was great! Living room, nice bathroom and bedroom. I only wish they had left the oven/range in the rooms when they converted it from condos to a hotel. There is only 1 ice maker on the first floor. Housekeeping did a great job. The pools are cleaned every morning. I would stay here again if I wanted to be in the busy area of palm beach. Everything is walkable. There is ample free parking. We did not eat in the restaurant or the coffee shop. We did enjoy a few drinks at the pool bar. The coffee maker in the room makes delicious coffee.

Mixed feelings about this place. One of the main pictures for this property is the beach, making it seem like it’s a beach front property. It is not. They have a small section where motor boats come in (kept seeing guests told to move away) with some beds/umbrellas that filled up early on two of our four beach days and we had to pay $30 to the bar to get beds/umbrella. There’s a shuttle once an hour to the beach but it’s also walkable (about 5 minutes in the heat). The water/beach was very nice. The hotel is very close to a lot of restaurants and shops, so we did walk a lot and it was very convenient. The lobby has no A/C, the rooms are really apartments, mine had 3 locked doors and a warning sign on one of them.. very spacious, nice balcony (but too hot to be on it) bathroom barely had any counter space, really didn’t match the rest of the room.. they are extremely stingy on towels! Considering you may need to take 3 showers a day, I had to ask for extra towels, which disappeared the next day. The beach/pool towels they give just one per person, very annoying when it doesn’t properly cover a chair.. and you don’t get to dry yourself with a clean towel. Checkout is 11am, while check in is at 4pm.. if you have a late flight you might as well book an extra night as they wouldn’t budge for even an extra hour (and we asked 3 different people). Once we got past the various disappointments, we had a decent time (not due to the hotel). We will NOT come back to this property.

Perfect hotel choice
The hotel guest beach area was amazing. They even have staff there to ensure you have what you need. The staff were unbelievably kind. Getting a wave from Santos every time we saw him made us feel very welcome! Definitely not the same culture we are used to. This, and other small things made our stay really nice. Our room was amazing. So clean and modern. Two choices of pillows, both were nice. Leyonardo at front desk was always very professional and always in good spirits. Juliana at the bar was so lovely, we ended up getting more drinks than we intended!

Nice aria checked in early room was ready we didn’t wait until 3:00 pm. Shuttle took us to the beach although it was just 5 min walk staff was friendly rooms were great. On our day to check out we stayed until 1:00pm as a VIP access Expedia member. Santos. Dana Leo were friendly and hard working thank you I can’t remember all names but everyone was very nice and friendly thank you

The room was big. The biggest problem we had is hotel had some kind construction going on few floors below and this was going on for 3-4 days a lot of banging which produced migraines for my wife. The day before departure room next door had some kind of construction again , added more headache to my wife and me, we could not rest during day time no quite time at all with all the banging going on. The adult pool was dirty, I personally fished out a paper cups and napkins , had not see one personal going around and cleaning pool during day time. I purchased Mojito for my wife which had no alcohol in it.

Wonderful property, could not have asked for more. Close to the beach and shops and restaurants, walking distance to everything you need. Shuttle to the beach every hour if you don’t want to walk the short 3 min walk. Hot tub was perfect, pool was beautiful and the adults only rooftop pool was spectacular.

Very nice staff and very clean hotel. A few things I would have liked if I was going to stay again. I must to stay on beach front hotel. Having to walk to the beach and back (you walk through a dirty back alley or through an old tennis court) wasn’t ideal. There part of the beach is a very small area with like 15 beach chairs in front of the boat ramp. Also, all inclusive is a must. If you are looking to have fun, in walking distance to the strip where shopping/food and fun is this hotel is in a perfect spot. The bed and pillows were so comfy.
