Hotel was fine but there were two problems: 1. There was only one person handling check-in and there was a long line (especially because one customer kept harassing the lone staff member). Add some staff! 2. The chimney in the main area is not working! There was smoke going everywhere and I can only assume all smoke detectors have been turned off.

Matkalla Nordkappiin
Olimme perheen kanssa yhden yön matkalla Nordkappiin. Hotellihuone oli hinta-laatusuhteeltaan hyvä. Huone siistit ja sänky mukava. Myös aamupala oli hyvä. Meille sattui vielä huoneesta pysäköintipaikalle sekä aamupalalle.

Camera pulita, colazione OK; no wifi, TV, frigobar
Alla reception l’hotel si presenta bene, una ragazza fa un veloce check in. Camera e parti comuni sono pulite, soprattutto in camera non si sente entrando odore di moquette, bene. Il bagno è ampio con doccia funzionale. Prese elettriche in numero normale senza eccedere, un po’ nascoste. stanza sufficientemente illuminata, materassi e cuscini buoni, dormito bene. La zona è silenziosa, il parcheggio intorno molto ampio e gratuito. Colazione di buon livello per qualità e varietà, ottimo anche il servizio in sala. Il grande pregio di questa struttura è la posizione di vicinanza con Nordkapp, pochi km. Lati negativi: il WIFI non funziona nelle camere ma solo in reception, TV non presente (con quello che si paga…), non ho visto termosifoni (sarà chiuso in inverno?) e nemmeno aria condizionata (tenuto aperto finestra, ma al pomeriggio faceva caldo), non c’è una scrivania, ma un tavolino rotondo di 40 cm. Manca naturalmente anche il frigo bar. Camera basic, hotel pulito e colazione ottima, ma no wifi, TV, frigobar mi sembrano carenze risolvibili con poca spesa.

Masse små rom, greie nok om du er innstilt på to stjerners hotell midt i i ingenmannsland. Markant mugglukt i rommet vi hadde. Om du skal mer enn spise, sove og så reise videre må du velge et hotell i Honningsvåg. Dette ligger ganske langt utenfor. Vi visste ikke det da vi bestilte. Hadde ikke valgt dette om vi visste det vi vet nå.

nur wenns nicht anders geht…
nur wenn es nicht anders geht, sollte man hier übernachten. Ein riesiges Hotel im Einfach-Stil, kleine einfach Zimmer, nur zum Übernachten ok. Eigentlich übernachten hier nur die vielen Bustouren zum Nordkapp. Daher abends und mogens im Restaurant 400 Leute, die sich hektisch über das Buffet hermachen. Gegessen habe wir daher lieber in Honnigsvag und das war sehr gut.

Fint hotel med god beliggenhed i forhold til Nordkap. Hotellet er ret simpelt og minder om er vandrerhjem, ikke samme standard som man normalt forbinder med Scandic. Tingene fungerer og personale er hjælpsomme.

Pratique mais masque OBLIGATOIRE
C'est vrai que l'hôtel est pratique et dans un endroit calme. Par contre le type bâtiment de campagne sous forme de bungalows associés les uns aux autres vraiment moche. Les chambres sont minimalistes avec, malgré une seule fenêtre, une luminosité imposant le port du masque pour dormir correctement. En juin avec cette nuit extraordinaire ne pas penser à avoir un occultant raisonnable est déplorable. Quant aux buffets pour le matin ou le soir, on est vraiment dans le: "peu nettement mieux faire".
