Welcome to the Villa! An entire beautiful 3 bedroom, 3 full bath home that sleeps 8 people in Port Rowan, mere minutes to Long Point beach. Large open common areas on the main floor with a fully finished, full height basement that boasts a large theater room and a ping pong table. Large back and front yard. Patio with covered pergola, propane gas bbq and propane gas firepit, with plenty of seating. Outdoor dining table with umbrella and lounge chairs to relax in the sun. The front yard has a quaint front porch with seating to enjoy the birds over a cup of coffee in our very quiet neighborhood . Skate park is just around the corner, which also has horse shoe pits, beach volleyball, and a very large covered pergola. The elementary school has basketball nets, jungle gym and swings for your young ones. A short 5 minute walk to all amenities such as the downtown area with all sorts of shops, groceries and pharmacy. The marina is also a very short walk to watch the Blue Herons, Sandhill Cranes, Geese and wildlife, or grab your fishing pole and fish off of the boardwalk.
Enjoy a quick 8 minute drive to Long Point beach with your choice of the free public beach or pay to enter Long Point Provincial Park Beach. Port Royal is 5 minutes away for launching your kayak or paddle boards.
For the rainy days, stay inside and enjoy the large theater room and watch all your favourite shows and movies, play board games, ping pong or just turn on the fireplace and relax, read a book or spend time with the family. There are many amenities available from renting charter boat cruises (local), winery tours, zip lining, jet ski rentals (Turkey Point 20 minutes away) and so much more! So many trail walks to go on that we can't keep track of them all. Bring your family and enjoy your vacation in our neck of the woods. Pets must be authorized first with an added pet fee. Great! but always bumps in the road
The house was a perfect size for 6 of us to enjoy being together. There is water leaking at basement bathroom entrance, not visible at night but consistently there. One of the dark "blinds" in front bedroom fell down and could not be reattached. We would recommend putting the recycling bins beside the inside door to garage. We had some difficulty finding them. Had a great time !

A Great Weekend Getaway

Port Rowan is a delight!
The house and amenities worked fine for what we needed. We ran into an issue on the first day with the cleanliness of the home which was immediately resolved by the owner. That was fantastic! The only issue we had was the discrepancy between the posted pictures and the actual appearance of the home. Had the pictures depicted the true decor and condition of the house and yard - we would probably not have chosen to stay there at the price we were charged. I would recommend updating the pictures to show the true decor and condition of the home both inside and out. It was much more cluttered than the pictures showed. There were pots and pots of dead or dying plants. The basement was not set up the way the pictures showed and the outside was unkempt and dirty.

We celebrated a milestone birthday at the Villa. It is a beautiful home, with all the necessities and then some. The hosts truly ensure your stay is comfortable and carefree. Beautiful villa in quaint town
My husband, dog and I had a lovely stay at this inspirational villa. The atmosphere was everything you could ever want for a relaxing stay. Everything we needed to enjoy our stay was ready and easily accessible for us- from a quick morning brew to an evening dip in the hot tub. The home theater system was such a treat too! Bedrooms were super comfortable and clean! Kitchen was so easy to navigate and had everything we needed! Town was a quick and easy walk for us and our dog. Everyone in town LOVED our dog. The boathouse restaurant was also dog friendly so it was the perfect spot for our whole family! Thank you to our amazing hosts for allowing us the use of your gorgeous house!

What a beautiful home!
This property is right in the middle of a beautiful new subdivision. The home is immaculate and upscale all the way. we walked to everything Port Rowan had to offer and a it was short drive to the beaches of Long Point. Janice was quick to reply to any questions and even left a beautiful fruit tray in the refrigerator for us during our stay. Even the neighbours were polite and we felt like we lived there full time (even though it was just for a 3 day weekend). If you need to be in this area of the country, this is definitely the place to stay

We had a wonderful stay in Norfolk county and Jan’s lovely home. The house was exactly as described and very well equipped and comfortable. Jan was quick to respond and resolve any small issues (like needing a new battery) that arose. The area has much to offer and we hope to go back again.

Beautiful weekend up in Port Rowan!
Wow! What a beautiful property Janice has. The home was so well decorated and kept in beautiful shape. The basement area was a hit for the little ones and the adults as well! We loved the theatre room and upstairs open concept kitchen. Janice is doing vacation homes the right way! We would love to come back again next summer! Great memories with our kids and friends. Excellent place to stay!
We really enjoyed our beach vacation! The owner, Jan, was warm and welcoming. The property was very clean and well stocked. It showed even better in person than the pictures. The entertainment room was perfect for the children. Everything felt very clean and the beds were super comfortable. Very close to the main strip in town and a very short drive to Long Point Beach where we spent a lot of time. Overall an excellent vacation and highly recommend these accommodations. Thanks Jan!

We had a wonderful getaway at this beautiful home. It was perfect for 3 couples with plenty of areas, both in and outdoors to gather. The kitchen is well-equipped with items for your wants and needs. Having 3 bathrooms was ideal. It was the perfect location for both kayaking and golf!
