I was pretty disappointed with this stay. I wanted to splurge and spend a little more on a hotel and this did not meet my expectations at all. We had toilet issues that didn’t get fixed until the third day. There was no microwave and very limited storage in the room. No safe. No actual door on the bathroom. The fridge barely worked and our food kept getting to room temperature. There was no parking offered except for valet so we had to pay for a public lot every night. The iron did not work and leaked water all over our nice clothes we were wearing for the day. The bedding was stiff and itchy. We had to ask for our room to be cleaned on the first day. Every other day we had to ask for fresh towels and toilet paper because no one ever came and brought them. The ice machines weren’t working and I had to try all different floors to find some. The staff were friendly and it seemed clean but it did not feel worth the price. Will not be staying again.

Only thing the pool was closed for repair so that was one of the main reasons for booking this hotel. Wish the hotel had a better bar. In my opinion the Hilton down the street is a better hotel. SonNext time I’m in norfolk i will not be staying at this location but the Hilton instead.
