Wonderful place to stay
We have stayed at this hotel multiple times and it is always lovely. We can always count on it being clean and comfortable and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Staff was amazing. I called saying I would not be in until late. Their front desk is normally closed at that time. On the phone he told me when I got there to dial on the phone and someone would come up to the desk. Told them what time I would be there and he was at the desk waiting for me and chuckled I was 6 minutes early. Such geat service!

We stay at the Bay Inn everytime we come to Norfolk. It is clean, quiet, and 2 blocks from the water. There is an adorable courtyard where you can sit in the sun and read or just relax. It is affordable and exactly what you need as a home base for the adventures that await in Norfolk.

This was an older property but the room was newly renovated, clean and comfortable. I liked the courtyard style and view. Staff person was nice. Neighborhood a little rough around the edges but seemed there was good food and it was easy to get to.

This might have been the cleanest hotel in which I've ever stayed! The hospitality of the staff in unparalleled. The bathroom was newly updated and the water was perfectly hot with excellent water pressure. Fast Wi-Fi and TV in room. It was so nice to have a working refrigerator and freezer, as well! Coffee maker in room that was well-stocked. Seriously couldn't ask for more, especially at such an excellent price in a perfect location!

Cozy Spot by the Beach
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I noticed there wasn’t a mattress protector. But the room was spacious and cozy. The heating system was working ok it did keep the room warm. The shower did not provide hot water during the night, it may have been due to the cold temperature. Service was A+

Best Stay EVER!!!!
My stay was amazing. Honestly the best place I've stayed in a long time. Very clean. Good space and comfortable. I absolutely loved the water pressure because a lot of places, their water pressure is terrible. I truly enjoyed the 2 nights I stayed. If you need a place to just chill and relax, this is it. I will definitely be back. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

The Bay Inn is our favorite place to stay in Norfolk. Staff is wonderful and it’s quiet as well as close to the beach. We will definitely stay there again and again.

Clean, safe and cute.
This cute hotel is charming, clean and the owners are awesome. It's super quiet and safe with a lovely courtyard to enjoy coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night. It's very close to the water (quick walk) and the bed was very comfortable. I will stay here again!
