"The hotel is spotless, in a great location, walking distance to shops, restaurants and the local sites. The proprietor, Ellen, is friendly and she makes you feel like you’re at home. We have stayed at this property before, last year, the reason we returned is because of the hospitality. Everyone is so nice and accommodating, the rooms are a good size and extremely clean. If you ever need anything, there is always someone there to help. I would never think of going anywhere else."

"Wow! What an incredible visit to Nazaré! The Case de Norte was perfect in every way for our week's stay. The house was up on the hill in a smaller, quieter neighborhood with views of the ocean and just a short walk to restaurants, markets, and the beach. Transportation was easy by foot or Uber when we needed a quick ride into town. The location was PERFECT!The house was very comfortable and spacious, with everything that we needed to cook and relax when we were not out and about. There are so many places to hang out: outside, on balconies, and inside, we never felt cramped. Everything was clean and welcoming when we arrived, including our new friend and host, who was very helpful with local recommendations and additional firewood. We would highly recommend staying at the Casa De Norte, and we can't wait to go back."
