The room I had was uncomfortable, cold, and I could not control the air conditioning, as I was in a basement room. All the other rooms had a nice balcony and decent view. As I saw that there were not many customers, I asked to change room but was told I had taken cheapest room in the place. Expedia, you should advise your customers that the room we reserve is the cheapest and please advise us that the rooms you propose are basement rooms with little or no outside view. I am very disappointed and will not return there. Even the breakfast leaves much to be desired. The food is delivered the night before and it is frozen! I don’t understand how people rate this property so highly.

I loved the communal outdoor fire, the fireplace in our suit, our room was very tidy and well kept. It was a really lovely relaxing place to stay. The staff were very accommodating and friendly! Definitely would recommend to stay here!

One night in callander
Awesome resort friendly staff place were so clean. You could eat off the floor very friendly goes to the beach close to North five stars across the road again very very friendly staff.

Lovely atmosphere and a different vibe from a standard hotel. Breakfast was simple pre packaged foods but was still nice. Veiws of the sunset over lake Nipissing right from the room, would be nice if the glass was cleaned more often. I enjoyed my stay.

Quiet and clean with a great view
Just passing through for one night stay. Check-in was easy, the room was spacious and clean. Jetted tub was nice but a bit small for two. Could not figure out how to start the fireplace but didn’t need it. Shower was nice but plan to bring your own poo, conditioner and body wash. Hot breakfast delivered at 9am was a nice touch. The view overlooking the lake and watching the sunset was awesome. We would stay again!

Nice grounds, polite friendly staff, beautiful views, and clean/quiet hotel. The breakfast delivered to the room is a nice touch, but is not contactless and arrived frozen. Be prepared to answer the door at 9am and heat it up on your microwave. Everything was tasty! Thanks - will be back.
