Misrepresented renovation
Our experience was awful. We evacuated from our home in WNC during the aftermath of Helene. We paid a whole day extra so we could arrive late at night and when we got there our code didn't work. It took forever to get assistance and we didn't actually get into the home until after 12:30 am. The outside of the property wa covered in weeds And in disrepair. The inside was no better. The pictures for the listing are very clever to look shiny and clean, but that is not the reality. This home was about as haphazardly remodeled as possible. My children were injured by carpet nails sticking up at the thresholds. The master bathroom had mold in it. Closet doors were put in upside down. The master bed wasn't properly put together. The stove was rusty. The light switches were all dingy and disgusting. Almost every window in the house has a flood light from a neighboring property pointed directly at it. Sleep was impossible. I reported all concerns, cancelled our booking and was refunded within a few days. It was an absolute nightmare have to mage this afternoon evacuating our home. Thanks for the refund, but this property should not be listed until serious repairs and honest renovations are made.
