"Excellent property. Our room had a wonderful view of the park behind the hotel. Bedroom was nicely furnished, beds were comfortable and bathroom clean. My only comment would be for breakfast. The manager of the breakfast is quite rude and jokes around in an unpleasant and creepy way. The waiter was also not friendly, making our breakfast experience not enjoyable which took away from the excellence of the hotel itself. Really well located and close to many restaurants. Would decently recommend but beware if breakfast manager."

"I have stayed at 5 motels in the last year. The colonial house motorway is by far the cleanest, newest, and safest I've felt in any of these. The room felt like it was upgraded in paint/flooring/bathroom fictures within the last 5 years which is not an easy find for motels. It is right in Perth despite the address and you are a 5 minute drive from EVERYTHING. Would come back! The only comment I have is that the lighting is quite cool-toned/fluorescent. They weren't too bright or glaring, I just think if as bulbs in lamps were replaced as needed with warm toned bulbs it would push the rooms over the edge for comfort. Not a big deal - just personal preference. The staff was incredible and there was no credit card hold like most which I don't always have the money to cover with. 10/10!"

"My partner and I decided to have a little R&R for a couple of days. We randomly ended up at Somewhere Inn Calabogie. We had a wonderful stay! The hospitality was absolutely amazing (everybody was so friendly and wonderful) and they would communicate with you via text, if you needed anything. On the last day, we had a LOT of snow, and we were afraid that we were going to have a hard time getting outta the area, but luckily, they had some people come through to help not only shovel the snow, but also help get some of the snow off our car. It was very sweet of them. There isn't *too* much to do in Calabogie proper, except for maybe hiking in Eagle's Nest (we went end of March 2025). So prepare for this! I think it would've been really fun if we came here during the summer or fall. We ended up going to the day spa in Gatineau for one day, and then to Ottawa for another. All about 50 minutes to an hour away. One other warning is that if you have loud neighbours, it might be a tad annoying. We luckily only had loud neighbours for one evening. Somewhere Inn provides you with ear plugs to help with this, but unfortunately they were fairly loud. Otherwise, we had a nice little getaway from the bustling city of Toronto!"
