Enjoyed our stay
Really liked staying here. We had a very spacious room upstairs with a comfortable king size bed. You also get members rates at the club a short walk from the motel. Would definitely recommend this place. We went for a walk before dinner and came across two of these Grey Nurse sharks in the inlet. The manager told us they had been seen by other guests.

Quiet clean comfy motel; well kept premises; friendly staff that obviously take pride in their establishment; easy walk to river and club; 3min drive to beach; parking at door; small kitchenette with microwave& sink; nice pool & BBQ area (didnt use as winter nearly)

Very friendly and helpful owners. The motel is right across the street from the river, a very nice river walk to the ocean and beautiful sandy beach. There is restaurant within a 1 minute walk and more within 5 minutes. Beautiful area to explore.

Despite info saying the office was open till 8.30pm, it was unattended at 7.20pm so we rang the number listed to ask for the sofa bed to be assembled. Owner/manager Richard said he was offsite and could not help. It would have to wait until the next day. A few hours later, three of us were playing cards in our room and lost track of time. It was 10.20pm and Richard came to our door, Not to assemble the sofa bed but to chastise us and berate us for several minutes for being too noisy. He was extremely abrasive and would not stop going on despite us agreeing to stop playing cards. I have never encountered someone so rude in the hospitality field. Beware that full silence is expected after 9pm every night. The other staff were lovely, but we would not visit again due to Richard.

It is an extremely good place to stay. Staff is very nice, room is new and very clean, also have all the facilities such as microwave, fridge, catering etc. swimming pool and BBQ area are very easy for people to use. Only one thing is wifi not very good, can’t connect. Over all it is a very good place to stay.
