"This is a very old hotel. It looks rough on the outside. It sits not too far from the water so that is to be expected with the salt air. We stay here regularly because it is near a venue we frequent; it is a good price for the space and comfort and the front desk staff is very friendly. The rooms are always clean, the bed is so comfortable and there is plenty of free parking."

"Exactly what it says. Only thing is shower is very small and I’m not a big person. Beds comfortable and it was perfect for me and my husband. "

"The George Hotel was great! Staff and facilities were wonderful. Everything you need is in walking distance. The food is amazing at each restaurant. Highly recommend."

"The facility was clean and well kept. We enjoyed the staff, they were friendly and very accomadating. They were well prepared for the 4 baseball teams that were there this week for The Classic. The had extra hands on deck to keep up with breakfast for the guests over the weekend. The only issue we had the entire stay was the refrigerator was not working in our room. It would cool down but would not stay cold. I had a few things in there at the beginning of our stay but realized that it was not working, so was able to do something else with the food. It is just something that needs to be brought to the staff's attention. I am sure those room fridge's do not get use very often and is a easy fix. Thank you for going above for the out of town guests this weekend. "
