We didn't know much about the Campanile before we arrived, but they accepted dogs and we were visiting Northampton with our cockapoo. the reception staff were exceptionally helpful and very friendly. The room was quiet, and clean ,the bed comfortable and the shower - probably the best I have ever used in any hotel. We shall stay here again when visiting family, it was great value for money.

The staff were friendly and accomodating but the hotel has gone downhill since the last time I stayed. The room a/c did not work, there was no tv remote, no hairdryer, iron/ ironing board, front desk telephone and the bed was uncomfortable. Breakfast was excellent
Terrible hotel. Checked in for two days. 2nd day I complained of the air conditioning which was not working around 11pm, the geezer at the reception tried to fix it but couldn't. I told him not to worry since I will be leaving in the morning. Few hrs later while sleeping, I noticed something crawling on my body, switched on the light, it was a massive spider.
I went to the reception and the dude at the reception blatantly told me the hotel is fully booked for the night. That, I should check out or sleep in the room like that. I told him no way I am sleeping in that room again, they moved me to a disabled room, which I did not enjoy cos it had cobwebs too. The dude at the reception was rude.
Twice I have used this hotel, twice it ended in disappointment. I will not recommend.
On arrival the carpark was very busy but a member of staff came out to assist people parking,
Once entering the hotel we were greatest by a lovely young lady who booked us all in very quickly and guided us to the lift.
The rooms are very basic but functional and since we were only using it as a place to sleep this was ok
Unfortunately there would appear to have been some kind of function on at the hotel so it was very busy and noisy but this quieten down by the time we had returned from a meal we had planned
Awful, mold , bathroom flooded and water run in the main room. Hole around smoke alarm could see electrical wires. Dury manager put in a complaint and she spoke to her manager that agreed i would have full refund but haven't received a email to confirm this yet. Duty manager took photos and sent to her manager.
