Too basic
Although clean and helpful man on reception I marked it down for the following: I was told to park in car park 3 but on arrival, after a lot of messing about I was told to park in 4 the bed was so hard and I couldn’t get comfortable. Had to sleep on top of the duvet in the end so slept for a few hours I arrived back from my event at 9pm and there was absolutely no way on site to buy food Breakfast was disappointing. A pre prepared bag. Not much to eat really Obviously just not for me

Pleasant location but loud guests.
Positives: The room was clean and warm; the shower worked well. Reception staff were helpful and there was good parking availability. Lots of take away options within a few minutes walk. Negatives: Breakfast was in the student block but only started at 8am. Very noisy hotel, lots of people banging doors at 02.30 every morning during my stay. TV signal was very poor.

Hotel is situated within the halls of the Nothampton University, nothing against the students however you can hear them coming back home from the night out which caused disturbance to sleep numerous times through the night/morning

Nobody on reception, the number we were advised to call rang on the unmanned reception desk! My name was spelt wrong on the key card. Only 1 bath and hand towel for 2 of us!

OK Place to stay but car parks aren't next door
Car park is a fair way from the Hotel if you are disabled but it seems there are some disabled parking nearby but wasn't told about this?? Hotel staff Great - Unfortunately no TV Reception so couldn't watch tv or have radio on - wasn't informed about this until i rang reception to enquire. Bed Great, Shower good but disabled seat wasn't securely fastened to the wall as the fixings had come out - Good job i didn't want to use this as i would have ended up on the floor!! Good breakfast in the Uni refectory - so some good and some bad bits sorry...

I stay here regularly and am generally very happy but in this occasion the tv was not working on arrival and throughout my 2 night stay did not get fixed. It was a general issue with all tvs in the hotel so this stay was very disappointing.

This hotels rooms are always very warm even with the heating off. All televisions in the hotel were out on arrival and stayed out for the duration of my 2 night stay. Other than that the staff are good and a nice place to stay but they need to sort out the temperature and maintenance service standards

Basic hotel, and you get what you pay for. The rooms were a bit shabby, mattress very uncomfortable, razor cover left by previous inhabitants not picked up by cleaners, shower tray wouldn't drain properly so two of us were unable to shower as the shower would have overspilled. The light in the bathroom is on a sensor with the fan, and it stays on for a long time (i.e. an hour plus) after you have left the room, a tad painful in the middle of the night when someone pops to the loo. Wouldn't stay here again, few bits that unfortunately let the hotel down. Looked far better on photos than it did in person.

Handy hotel
Needed a hotel to go to a gig in town. Thus popped up and it is great. It's in the middle of the University of Northampton campus (if arriving by car use car park 3 and tell operator you're in the hotel - electronic capture of licence plate in reception so you don't pay) looks newly refurbished. Great

No Aircondition, Super hot in the room, there’s also bugs in my room ( wasp, small & large mosquitos). The bed & the beddings are rundown. This is not even 3 star hotel. No places to eat, there’s only one cafeteria & you have to go to town centre to find a restaurant. Also Uber eats has limited restaurants on their App. No places to go after 6pm.
