renovations, but LOTS of problems
This hotel is in the middle of a renovation, but I don't think that is the problem. We spent 5 nights here. When we first entered our musty room, we noticed something was wrong with the bed. The staff had made the bed, but didn't bother to remove the shipping plastic around the mattress. I informed the front desk and they said I should go ahead and strip the bed, cut the plastic off and remake the bed. Never being offered by the hotel to correct this silly mistake. I received a text message welcoming me and let me know they would change the towels every 3 days. I had to ask the front desk for new towels on the 4th day. The hot breakfast was the same all 5 days. The health dept. came by on the 3rd day and told them their refrigerator wasn't cold enough, they removed all the items and put up a sign. The next day, the sign was still there, but the milk and yogurt was back in there. Same thing for the next day as well. So the dairy items were being held at an unsafe temperature for days. The bread items were not replenished, I only saw danish pastry once, usually just a few sad slices of bread. No fruit or granola. Also, the parking was horrible, no one enforced the handicap parking, messes on the front porch area were there for days and the front desk was never staffed. Always had to call out several times. We often travel to Columbus for conventions, and will never stay at this hotel again.

We were disappointed. We just needed a room prior to our early morning flight. Check-in took extra time as the clerk had to find a room for us. Toilet clogged up late night, the hallway had a very pungent smell and the beds were covered with a thick plastic wrap, I assume for bed bug prevention, however sheet was right on top of plastic making the sleep very hot and uncomfortable. As we left early morning, we discovered someone vomited right beside our car.

we was traveling deom west virginia to illinois stopped in for the night room was ok its a $85 room nothing fancy had to park outback which is a little sketchy but gas stations an food is close by gas station in walking distance beds wasnt the best but overall i give it a 5 outta 10

Property is very dirty, dirty carpets, elevator, even room isn't clean. Staff was nice but it's obvious no effort has been put into cleaning the property with ongoing renovations. Will never stay here again or advice anyone else to stay here. Probably the worst I have ever seen in Columbus, OH

We checked in at 3:00 into our room and another couple came with us and they checked into their room both King. Our room was not cleaned so we went to dinner so that the staff could get our room clean we came back in 90 minutes and they had given our room to someone else so we had to take a clean room which we did not want but that was the only option we went to our room sat there while I was on the phone with hotels.com we realized that our air conditioner did not work. So my husband went down to tell them and they gave us another room so we switched to another room and it finally worked but the drain was so slow that we had about 3 inches of water by the time we were done with our showers in the tub the room was not very clean there were pieces of just little things all over the place the tubs tub was chipped and peeled and just the whole array of the room was dirty feeling. The desk lady was not extremely helpful in our situation. The elevator was just pieces of paneling duct tape together with red and blue duct tape
