Loved the property. The only change I would make is the shades in the living area were not black out and facing the courtyard the light all night was unpleasant. The shades in the bedroom were blackout however they were not a perfect fit and light was on either side of the shade.

This is more of an Air B&B than hotel. Don't get your hopes up for hotel service! The room was clean and spacious. Appliances were ok. Nice washer and dryer. About 10 minutes to the Metro which was nice. Definitely not close enough to walk to the National Mall, museums. Harris Teeter is close to grab groceries. The beds are horrendous. Easily the worst I've slept on but the location and price of the property made up for it. Water took forever to get hot. Close to the Amtrak so you have to deal with that. Wi-Fi also terrible.

Elegant but two seven digit security codes is annoying, as was squishy mattress and lower water pressure in bathroom. Still a good choice, spacious and great kitchen and appliances.

Nice apartment near Union Station. Clean, comfortable and reasonably well equipped. Lots of annoying little things that could easily be fixed though...We didn't get given any access to the Latch App so we had to enter a 7 digit code in a fiddly keypad every time we entered the building, used the lift or entered our room. Blind in front of patio door was broken and hanging down, reported this but no one came to fix it. 1 table leg was completely detached from the table, WiFi was very flaky, no tea towel provided or washing tabs. Only one beside cabinet, cigarette butts on patio, no patio table, duvet cover too small for duvet.

Prefer the mariott thats built into property
Very non traditional checkin. 7 digit Codes for building and room. I had trouble typing them into keypads. Reviews and pre instructions are confusing so ignore them.. Very minimalistic furniture. Outdoor plastic furniture as main table.limited cookware; i had to buy coffee filters so plan on going out. Bed was old and tired. Neighbors partied until 2am and i got a contact high from all the marajuana. Parking is 40 or 60 a night without in/out privledges. Theres a mariott built into the property- just stay there

Surprisingly nice despite reviews. Not your standard hotel, very modern. More for long term stays I’d suggest but great either way. Beautiful pool and the rooftop view at night is amazing. It’s a ten minute walk to union station. Which is home to a multitude of quick spots to grab a bite. Right in the middle of everything. The view from the fifth floor is to die for.

We had some problems getting to where we were supposed to be due to not having access to info we weren’t sent until we had already departed on our trip. Once we got to our room, we found it an excellent place to stay. We were actually in a high-scale apartment building. The facilities were well-kept, and security was taken very seriously. The staff and the residents there were friendly and helpful. Also, it was within walking distance of Union Station, so we were able to take the Metro to where we were going each day.

Not a hotel and not a VRBO. Pretty much the worst of both worlds. Very hotel feel without all of the small things you expect from a hotel. I almost ordered a new mattress for my room after the fist night off of Amazon. Little things like no salt or pepper no coffee filters. Things you would expect from a VRBO property weren’t present. If I wanted a hotel I would have simply gotten 2 adjoining rooms. Not good for a week stay. One or two nights max.

Overall, this apt rental was really nice! Location was quiet and easily accessible for Ubers to the main attractions. Apartment was very clean and everyone, including the tenants were friendly. Only small suggestions: would have been nice to have better toiletry options, as usually people staying in an apt like this are there for many days. Washer and dryer did not have any detergent supplied.

It’s not your grandfathers hotel. Very little human communication, and the secure website for document submission was down a lot, which didn’t inspire confidence. Still, it was great to have a grocery store nearby to make it a home away from home. We got one of the beds that slopes to the middle, as I’ve seen in other reviews. The shower door wouldn’t stay closed but it didn’t make a mess. Nothing to keep us from staying there again.

This place is a scam
Horrible experience. We were on the first floor - felt like semi basement. Mattresses were horrible and one of the bed frames was broken and we couldn’t get any help from anyone. There is no one on the premises - just some numbers with operators (who knows where they are). They said they will forward our request and nobody called us or reached us. Nobody came to fix the bed. We left next day and now trying to get a refund!

The property is brand new and very modern.Close to Union Station and Metro. No neighborhood coffe shops or restaurants. There were computer problems on check in and no direcction on what to do to get in or where to go. There were 5 of us and they did not provide proper bedding for fold out couch. Not ienough chairs to relax in..only couch and hard table chairs. No information provided if help is needed or for simple things like where to take the trash.

The hotel itself is nice. When we arrived the guy at the desk seemed too busy to deal with all kinds of things but us. I appreciated the dish detergent, the laundry detergent, paper towel. However, the beds were not comfortable, the smell of the toiletries was not great. I left my luggage in the storage room and the lady was on her lunch break and said that she did not have to help me since it was her break that it was the Churchill and not the Revel or something like that. Something needs to be done about the people working at the front desk.
