Unfortunately it was the end of tourist season and service in the restaurant was almost non-existent. The staff was doing the best they could.

Overall the stay was okay, we stayed for 4 days and not once was our room asked to be cleaned and or if we needed anything. The shower was leaking and our floors was stained. Only one elevator was working. The night crew was very good! It could've been a better experience.

First Trip to Virginia Beach!
This hotel was one of the accommodation options for my stay. It was a great hotel for the price and convenience. The only downside was that the parking deck was across the street.

I didn't at this resort. I booked an oceanfront for my anniversary. The traffic was very heavy so we didn’t get there till 5 o’clock. They place me in room with a half window in the corner looking at the dumpster. I asked for another room that was the only room they had. I take it. I cannot stay in the room and it cataphobia. I called Expedia customer service for two hours no answer. We could wait no longer so we booked a i’m at the Embassy suite one night and the Hyatt for the other night. this was my 39th anniversary.

When we got there the staff was not friendly at all. The rest of the time they were extremely friendly. The room wasn’t cleaned and I did asked for it to be… one day the staff took the tip but didn’t make the bed which was a little aggravating. The last nite we were staying we did get full service new sheets and all.

Good for the value.
Cozy hotel on the beach. Staff is very friendly. Elevators need a re-do. Asap. Twice we had someone try to access our room. No idea if they were staff or not? Was difficult to tell. Our door also did not close all the way on its own. Thank god we noticed. The room was clean. Balcony is very small. Breakfast was a good value.

The Sheraton Oceanside hotel has definitely gone downhill. Not only is it outdated (wallpaper, carpet, paint) but the bathroom sink faucet was very loose, the cold water faucet didn’t work, the mini fridge leaked water, the balcony rails were loose and rusty. We had to call every 2-3 days to have our rooms cleaned and had to specifically ask to have the sheets changed. I am ordinarily not a complainer but I’ll say I won’t return to the Sheraton again.
