Staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Room was lovely even though the bath could use an uplift. Breakfast was excellent, will be using Abel Heywood again.

Slight delay at check in but we were 10 mins before the check in time of 2pm. Nice room on the first floor, small but well furnished and comfy bed with a rainfall shower in the bathroom. Breakfast very good, hotel is very well placed for city centre attractions and the pub downstairs serves a nice pint of Cruzcampo!

Characterful Northern Quarter hotel
Clean and tidy, this Northern Quarter boutique hotel is a good alternative for a city centre stay with character. The room was compact but very tidy. The bathroom was cosy, with the shower being a little bit small, but all functional and full of charm. All in all an enjoyable stay.

Stay was okay. Took a long time for reception to help me as there was no one at desk when arrived. The water pressure in the taps in the room was not consistent.

Location, location, location
Great location for visiting the centre or Manchester. Arrived during busy time in the Pub, so had to go to go to the bar to find someone to check us in - but apart from that no issues at all. Room was clean, comfortable, well equipped and quiet. Good breakfast available in the Pub with friendly staff.
