While the staff is friendly and professional, and the common areas are beautiful, our room was just okay. The shower curtain was torn; the bed had those small square pillows that are so inadequate; the fridge had no freezer compartment for ice paks to re-freeze; the bath soap was incredibly, pathetically small; and the toilet took 5 flushes to clear (the Inn is VERY eco-minded, but impractical in some respects).

The hotel looked fine from the outside but the inside room was old. The wallpaper was peeling, dirty bedsheets, and really tiny bathroom.

The dining area was a perfect way to start the day and get a wonderful breakfast. Staff was pleasant and friendly. Would stay again.

The inn is dated and in need of an upgrade. Every piece of the pressed wood furniture is chipped Mold was on the rim of the bathtub, the shelf where the towels were stored was dirty with coffee stains, paint stains and dirt. One hand towel was dirty. I placed it on the floor (per hotel instructions) for staff to take and replace but no housekeeping person checked the room or made the bed. The bed was comfortable and clean as were the hardwood floors. There was a terrific dorm size refrigerator in the room that I used to keep food cool. The front desk clerk who conducted the check-in was excellent. He was friendly, professional and thorough.

The Norwalk Inn & Conference Center is a fine destination for a get away the property is fantastic with so much to do not only for adults but children as well. Their service staff is outstanding.

Bedrooms are dated beyond what could be called charming - one USB position on an alarm clock , very small TV WITHOUT internet options . Furniture is damaged and scruffy. No shower except over the bath - . However the room was clean and a comfortable bed . Staff were cheerless but not unhelpful. Not my first choice for any future stays

Rooms and bathrooms are getting tired. Mattresses and linens need to be upgraded. Coffee too expensive in the breakfast lounge and should be complimentary in lobby like most others hotels.
