The staff was wonderful, friendly, helpful, sweet. The room was large and the tub was wonderful. The food was really great. Some of the best we have had on this trip.
Lovely country pub tastefully decorated with Lotus pictures, the self contain single story rooms are spacious, quiet and very comfortable. The breakfast was great, sadly we didn’t get to sample the evening restaurant food, as I’m sure that would have been great too. At check in we had a friendly welcome from Janet who along with the rest of the staff that we meet were wonderful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again if ever back in this area.
I normally enjoy staying at The Bird In Hand; friendly staff,
good food & Oh so clean! - This time however, the bedroom at night was too cold & the thin duvet was of
summer weight. there was no blanket in the wardrobe
so I spent the night with a sweater over my nightclothes
& a coat on top of the duvet & still felt cold. It is winter
now & these problems should have been addressed.
