Last minute great value
I used to live in Nottingham but since moving away I often stay in a hotel when visiting. I had never used this hotel and chose on the basis of low cost. It’s in no way poor standard as a result. It’s great value for money. It cost £10 in a taxi to the city with a very short wait. I’d consider staying again. Plus it includes free parking.

Amazing hotel for Nottingham university visits
Reception staff were so helpful -nothing was too much trouble - even provided a toothbrush when I had forgotten mine . Food was really enjoyable for breakfast. Hotel on Nottingham jubilee campus and we were given full day parking which was amazing for uni visit . Would highly recommend

We have stayed here before and have been happy with the hotel but on this occasion we were seriously inconvenienced when there was a broken pipe in the hotel and we couldn't shower before going out for the evening . While we understand these things can happen we felt that there was no attempt to make it up to guests or compensation offered when we checked out.

The hotel was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was very good. The room was basic but comfortable. On the downside, the bathroom sink taps are very noisy when turned on, and disturb people in nearby rooms. The car park was full but we were able to park nearby.

It was ideally situated for my needs it was a great nights sleep would definitely book again when I’m there for next hospital appointments very good value for money and the breakfast was excellent x

Plenty of availability. Good parking. Lack of restaurant in the evening is an issue, and breakfast in Spokes was poor and not great value. The hotel is noisy - heavy fire doors shutting all night, and if you have a room overlooking the lake be prepared for an early morning wake up from the resident geese. The beds are on wheels which can be dangerous, as they slide around when getting in/out. Reception staff clearly have an issue with Expedia bookings and prefer you to book direct. Would only stay again if nowhere else available.
