When I booked the stay it stated there was parking available and this is incorrect. When calling the hotel to find out where to park they advised to park at the NCP. What the lady didn’t advise that the reduced rate is only for St James Street NCP and not Mount Street NCP around the corner where we had to park as the other car park was full. This ended up in us paying £19.95 instead of £10.95 and when I booked I was led to believe no charge would be required. The rooms are quite standard. The restaurant and bar area is lovely and that was very pleasant

Cold shower, towels that had seen way better days and a room that smelt a bit like “wet dog in a tent”. I booked one of the small rooms just for one night. As soon as I got in the room I could smell the kind of wet dog aroma. But as I was going straight out I didn’t worrry about it. The towel in the bathroom were practically yellow beige they were so old. I mean they must have seen those when they put them in and thought they were in keeping. Got in at night and went for shower. Sadly it was like warm at best. Tried again in the morning and the shower was still not hot. I even turned the cold tap on the sink on in case that helped. No, sadly both times I’d showered it was like warm. Breakfast was pretty good but I wouldn’t come back due to the warm shower and smelly room. I only want a clean room, hot clean shower and decent breakfast from a hotel but sadly didn’t get that.

Beautiful hotel and lovely rooms with nice touches such as sleep mist by your bed. Had thought we would dine there but very much just a bar despite its claim. That said breakfast was hot and lovely.

Good Hotel - Would Recommend
Good Breakfast and quality of rooms.Stayed on the 5th floor which is fine in winter but in the summer these rooks are hot. Suggestion for Improvement: Phone guests on the day of checking out if they leave something behind, rather than letting them realise once they have travelled home and then realise.

Decent hotel walking distance from centre of town. Has expensive car park next door. Very low, If your a borrower you'll be fine but I banged head numerous times. Would return

the staff were very helpful and friendly. the room was clean. the continental breakfast was really bad. so bad i felt ripped off. there were maybe a dozen people downstairs and everyone seemed equally disappointed by it. definitely do not pay for the continental breakfast, it's terrible.

Good location.
Good location with easy access to public transport. Catering excellent. Would have given a higher score but for one thing: the toilet facilities. Without going into gruesome detail, using the toilet required contortionist's skills when seated as the lid would not stay up.
