Avoid this hotel!
Do Yourself a favour and pay the extra money and stop at the Mercure! No parking, rooms are like university halls, plug in heaters, cold room, cold shower, unhelpful guy on reception. Never again!

This hotel has so much potential, stunning building but in need of some serious TLC - it’s all getting ‘tatty’ around the edges. The area’s kind of the same but we walked to town and walked back so right for the weekend. Staff friendly and helpful so good there - warm and comfy with a hot shower so right for what we wanted.

Dirty bedding and chair
Puled back duvet to find hairs in bed, bits of something unknown and a stain on the sheet. Very of putting. Bed had deep hollow and mattress uncomfy. Chair and walls both very grubby. Overall in a poor state, though shower and kitchen were clean. Immediate street didn't feel safe, though nearby high street was fine.

The entrance smelt of weed, the taxi man told us what a dodgy area it was, stating there were ‘ladies of the night’! The bed was so uncomfortable we had no sleep. Our room was by the lift so we heard a lot of people coming in! Was certainly not worth the money. Very disappointing

I would not recommems thjs place at all. There were big holes burns on the carpets, the duvet had stains, blood stains on the pillow case, the door did not lock, looked like it had been broken into, had to keep our suitcase against the door, felt unsafe all night, my daughter and I.

Good value for money. A clean, decent sized room with plenty of amenities. Reasonably close to a tram stop on a good line, and the air conditioning actually worked, which is a huge positive compared to other places. I'll definitely be back.
