Recently refurbished but the electrician must have had a bad day. Fridge and TV would work even with the room key inserted to the power slot.

Central and close to shops and eateries.
Hotel is old and somewhat lacking maintenance. Entrance/reception and restaurant are well kept but the rest of the Hotel and rooms/beds are disappointing in that it is very outdated and needing better up keep. The pool was closed for 5 out of the 7 days we stayed. After some negotiation we did get a refund of $10 per couple refund for the days we could not use the pool. There is nowhere to do washing yourself in the Hotel. There is a laundromat downtown and it is done for you at the price of around $15 NZ. Otherwise the Hotel does washing at a cost.

Great Locality
We returned to this complex having stayed at their Le Parc hotel 1 year ago on our 1st NC visit and were impressed. This time we chose to stay at their Nouvata hotel and were a little disappointed. A number of room faults caused us to advise reception of them when the TV did not work on our 4th day. They immediately inspected the room and moved us to another room which was good. Staff were polite and helpful but unfortunately some of their 'Code Bar' were not. I can accept that when over charged for their "classic blanc" wine it may have been a different wine served but in the same 2 drink order to be served my "Havannah" beer, not in their Havannah glass on the shelf but in a small soft plastic thing that had trouble keeping it's shape in my hand...is unacceptable cheap arrogance. When questioned a waiter said "I can pour your beer into a glass if you want".

AVOID STAYING IN THE NOUVATA BUILDING
TRAVELLING WITH 2 YOUNG KIDS WE WERE GIVEN A ROOM IN THE NOUVATA BUILDING ABOVE THEIR "LE CODE" BAR. On several evenings they organize some events in the bar until 11pm-12am. We stayed on Wednesday when they have a Salsa night and unfortunately were unable to sleep until that finished. Volume were unreasonably high and the bass had the whole walls vibrating. Also the lift in that building is antiquated and the baggage trolley cannot even fit in. No helped can be had from the staff with luggage as this is not part of the service provided by the hotel. The room key has to be used for the electricity in the room and also the lift so if one person stays in the room and then other goes out, we had to choose between being locked out and having no electricity in the room. Then staff would not being a second key and you need to go all the way to the reception desk to get a second key. Wireless not stable and could not be accessed from our room at the end of the corridor. Restaurant is not bad and the pool is decent. Overall not decent for a 3* hotel but we would definitemy not recommend. Surely better options can be found in Noumea.

Nice and relaxing getaway!
We had never been to New Caledonia before and had no idea where to stay in Noumea. After searching around a few sites/hotels we decided on this one, purely due to it's price. It was comfortable and great value for money. We were given a lovely room with a view of the ocean. The room was large and bathroom was clean and practical. Hotel gardens and pool were relaxing and well maintained. The lift was slow and tiny, so we took the stairs each day. Some coffee and tea was provided in room, but it would be nice to have some milk (they had dried packet milk). It may not be the best hotel, nor the best we have stayed at around the world.. but we will come back and stay here again.

Solid value hotel
Have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions and find it to offer excellent value. Hotel is very clean, pool area is nice and the hotel is in a very central location on the beach. Parking is also free and easy.

Centrally located to the restaurant strip.
With the beach across the road the motel is excellent. A wide variety of restaurants are nearby. Local shops and tourist booking agencies are also within a short walk. Heading into town is a long walk or an interesting bus ride. The Nouvata room I stayed in had a balcony overlooking the beach.

Great place to stay!
After weeks of deciding on a hotel, we settled on Le Nouvata as it seemed good value and close to the beach. Upon arriving in Noumea there was a shuttle bus direct to the hotel which is a big bonus when arriving in a country you don't know and where the language isn't your first language! We were seen to straight away by a kind man at reception (I'm sad we didn't get his name as his service was exceptional!) who spoke very good English. We were told that we were getting a free room upgrade as the other part of the hotel was full, which is always a bonus! The room was absolutely lovely, very clean and spacious, with a fridge, tv, tea and coffee making facilities, a huge shower/bath, his and hers sinks and a balcony overlooking the pool. The bed was comfy and the air con made sleeping at night a lot easier as it was hot and humid when we were there. The rooms have the option to be cleaned daily and the women who tended to ours did an excellent job. The hotel is on the beach front and close to the restaurants and a water taxi that can take you to the island of ducks to do some snorkelling for 1500 f. Highly recommend this hotel, only wish we could have stayed longer!

Great Location, nice hotel.
Very noisy hotel, although clean and modern. Location was great. Housekeeping service was inconsistent, some days we had 3 towels, sometimes 5. We didn't get out wake-up call that we booked and when I picked up some broken glass by the pool and handed it to a staff member, she just said "you should be wearing shoes". Overall a nice place though.

We stayed here for 6 nights in a beachfront room on Level 1 of the older part of the complex. I would recommend staying in either the Parkside tower or at a higher level of the older building, as the bar downstairs and passing traffic can be disturbing for an early night. Be prepared for European-style lifts (i.e. small). A large group with large suitcases will need to take couple of trips

Good Value
We stayed at Le Nouvata for 5 nights across two stays (flew to Isle of Pines mid week and the hotel held on to a bag for us). It's very good value for money (we paid about $120 NZD per night) and the rooms are a good size. The hotel is slightly dated, but you would expect that for the price. Location is great - a stroll to restaurants/bars and corner shops. Staff are great and helped us to book restaurants.

Top location, great hotel with many activities
My bookings for both flight and hotel with Expedia were absolutely perfect. The Nouvata Hotel is in a beautiful area facing the beach, with very easy access to buses right in front that is in my opinion and experience the best way to navigate in Noumea. The staff at reception was wonderful, my room was absolutely immaculate and the local staff always very pleasant. The spirit of the Hotel is very young and dynamic with always different activities for everyone e.g. salsa lesson one evening, tango another one, karaoke or magic session for kids on Sunday morning. The bar in terrace is very nice and relaxing. The Nouvata is close to different restaurants and shops and a beautiful sea border that is perfect for a lovely walk enjoying the natural beauty of the island. I just loved it at all levels and I'll go back!

I have a very mixed feeling about the hotel.
The room I was given lights were not working, safe deposit box completely broken, water was flowing onto the floor from the shower despite a shower curtain. After one night in that room I was upgraded (so I was told) to another room. That room was functionally fine. My first sentence begs a lot question about the quality of the management. How it is possible that management was unaware of the awful condition of the room I was given. The front desk staff were a mixed bunch some very helpful and friendly to one was completely insolent. Again it is the management's responsibility what type of people they recruit for doing the front desk job in the hotel. Only the hotel Restaurant staff I found were very professional without exception. The major PLUS point for the hotel is its location.

Beautiful location & setting
We loved the beautiful pool and garden setting. The location in Anse Vata was fantastic. Just opposite the beach, near bars and restaurants, and handy for public transport. In the wing that we were staying the rooms could do with a bit of an update and the lift was extremely cozy for two people and bags. My 70 year old Mum and I opted to use the stairs to get to the 3rd level. Tourist information was a bit limited....we didn't even had a compendium in our room explaining the services available at the hotel. However, we thought it was comfortable, convenient and extremely good value. We would happily stay again.

Close to everything.
Nice clean hotel with good facilities, close to beach, local activites such as aquarium, casino, beach, sightseeing tours, shops, boats to islands etc. Also close to next bay and close enough to walk to town, or bus stop right outside. We had a lovely relaxing week and managed to see everything we wanted to.
