Try not to stay here.

Check in was painful. Guests smoke right at the front door, spit on the floor, leave trash there and drink at all hours and the staff do nothing about it. Everytime you enter or leave you’re met with a face full of smoke it’s disgusting. It does not make you feel safe to stay here.

As always, A&O hotels are always exceptionally clean and comfortable. The reception staff was very helpful during the check in procedure with options of dining. The hotel is centrally located to public transport, supermarkets and shopping. A&O are an economical choice with reliable standards

Horrible, broken elevator, old and dirty

The hotel room was old, dirty, and uncomfortable. The hotel elevator did not work. This hotel was selected by us because in the description it stated that it had an elevator.

I would make a different choice next time

The room for 6 was MUCH smaller than pictured. The bathroom shower closet and toilet closet were so small it was almost unusable. The outlets on the bunk beds did not work. There was no "table" and only 2 stools.

Not recommended. Horrible experience.

This place was just horrible! Expensive and not worth a penny. The beds were so uncomfortable, it was a single plastic mattress with a thin sheet on. Felt disgusting. The bathroom smelled like sewer. There weren't even hooks in the bathroom to hang the towel on. No AC, extremely hot. It was very loud outside and trucks driving in the middle of the night.

Ali, the manager on-site, was super helpful and easy going! We didn't want to spend a lot of money for sleeping and wanted to spend more cash for general everyday travel expenses. The family room was clean and easy. Would stay again no problem. I stayed with my husband and 13 yr old.

Nuremburg Nightmare

Totally non customer friendly. Got a rocket fot taking off my mask as i approached the desk to make myself clearly understood. Had to fill out 2 lengthy forms basically containing the same information. When i enquired about breakfast , i was told there was a pandemic on and ALL breakfasts rooms in Germany wete closed. For €7.50 , i was offered another form from which i had to "select" what i wanted and then collect it in the morning. No idea of the quality or quantity but a stop in an A&O in Dublin a few years ago produced a breakdast that wouldn't fill an ant and the quality was definitely poor. Tha above is put into better context by my stop at the A&O in Dusseldorf last night. I only had to fill in one small form and the breakfast room was open for a reasonable buffet breakfast at €7.90. AND the receptionist was customer friendly. I am even considering contacting Hotels.com and requesting a refund. Will definitely NEVER stay at the Nuremburg A&O ever again.

The room I stayed in had 6 bunks, with an ensuite shower and toilet. The check in was easy to do, and front desk staff was pleasant and were clear on how to check out early to catch an early train. I was a little disappointed that there was a 3€ charge for bedding at this A&O, as there was no mention of this on Expedia's listing. Would stay again though for a cheap place to stay! Great for a night or two.
