The price was absolutely fair for what we got, the food at the restaurant was excellent, the staff was wonderful from the first moment that we walked in and we were greeted by Atik. We can’t say enough good things about it and will definitely stay here again the next time that we are in Mombasa."

"Remarkable historic building with large rooms and spacious cool lounges, balconies and interior in Moroccan riad style. Staff were delightful (thank you Lilian for arranging so much our trip!), food delicious (thank you chef Bukari!) including breakfasts and dinners overlooking the beach and ocean. Amazing location with nice pool and in the right area for enjoying the ocean while exploring Mombasa. Unfortunately, however, the owners have neglected the building has been very neglected with the lovely fountains without water, everything dusty, towels with holes, etc. Lack of cleanliness / clearing food causes flies in the dining area. It's a real shame because this is a gem of a place. The owners need to give it the love that their staff do."
