A Gem at Inle Lake
Our stay was wonderful from beginning to end. We arrived VERY early in the morning and still we were allowed to checkin and relax and even enjoy breakfast. The hotel is very clean, the bed (twin bed) was super comfortable, shower was a dream and the food at breakfast is very tasty with lots of variety. The staff is attentive and always greeting customers with a warm smile. They really try their very hardest to accommodate every need while staying there. This place is a gem. It’s my third time staying here!

Staff were fantastic—friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. Zaw helped set us up for a boat trip to Pekon where we caught a cab to Loikaw. A 6 hour trip on a couple of beautiful lakes. Hotel was isolated from Nuaungshwee but located near a dock and floating community that was an easy 20 minute walk. The town also has a rotating 5 day market. Room was large and comfy. We had a couple of geckos for roomies but ushered them out peacefully. Restaurant was very good. Pool was cool.

Rooms are very clean and comfortable.
The hotel quality achieves 5 stars. It is good place to view he sunset. We all enjoyed staying there. Also it has private pier, it is very convenient to take a boat trip.

The rooms are very nice and clean, the view is fantastic and service friendly. But the restaurant is slow and the menu not so interesting. In a group of six people, two of us did not get what we ordered due to some kind of misunderstanding or mix up. I recommend staying at this place but perhaps to have lunch and dinner somewhere else.

Excellent staff and gorgeous views
Set next to the lake with its own private jetty, this hotel is perfect for anyone visiting Inle Lake who wants a quiet location out of town. The staff were incredibly friendly from the minute we arrived, and even let us check in early at 7.30am! Getting from the town to the hotel cost 17,000 Kyat (£8) in a Tuk Tuk, and the hotel can also arrange taxis while you stay there. The room was spacious and very clean, with a large comfortable bed. We had unlimited bottled water and two free cans of coke every day. Every day we were brought a complimentary fruit plate, and in the evening a member of staff came in to spray the room with bug spray and also bring a small cake. The pool gave a refreshing cool down from the hot sun and the views of the lake were stunning.The hotel has free bikes which you can borrow to go out and explore. They arranged our boat ride on the lake for 27,000 Kyat which included a visit to the In Dein Pagodas (or 21,000 Kyat without). It was my birthday during our stay and the hotel brought me a cake and sang which was so sweet. The breakfast was very filling - a buffet on the first morning and al a carte on the second day. We checked out at 12pm but were still able to use the sun loungers and pool until we left at 5pm. We realised we’d left our camera behind and the manager brought it down to the bus station for us for free - such excellent service. This is one of our favourite hotels in 3 months of travelling - we can’t fault it!

Great hotel to enjoy your stay at Inle lake
Very nice hotel, really caring staff - so cute! Good location at the sea. Evetything will be done to make your stay as much comfortable as possible. Great breakfast choice between asian and continental food, dinner was perfekt as well for good price. Only one recommandation: create real Spa room instead of using a normal guest room.

Great Resort to stay
Great resort with best service i have ever had. Location is also nice at Inle lake. Resort is clean, stuff absolutely service orientated to make your stay as much as possible to your home. Breakfast also great, big choice between asian or continental food. Dinner also perfekt. Prices are good, not to expensive. Just one thing to change: create a real Spa room instead if using a customer room.

Just book this hotel!
Yes it's a great location on Inle Lake, yes the hotel is lovely, with everything that you may need. BUT it is the staff that made our stay a wonderful experience... a cold juice presented every time we returned from exploring the area.

Very friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. It's possible to hire a boat for half or full day trips on the lake as the hotel has it's own pier. It's a 20-30 min walk to the local village or 10 mins by cycle. Had a massage at the hotel that was excellent. Very relaxing and stress-free stay.Great views of sunset over the lake.

The resort room is great but from there a lot can be improved for the price: 1) Food - really quite average and have had better buffets in lower ranked hotels 2) Facilities - has a small pool but outside of the minimal offerings (no gym/swim up bar/no spa or sauna/average on location restaurant) 3) Hotel transfer - given what you pay for a room I feel that complimentary transfer to Nyaung shwe would be a low cost option to improve the overall stay

Beautiful sunsets
Beautifully presented hotel, Ananta deluxe room spacious and comfortable. There were some very difficult language issues. Whilst we managed to book outings through the hotel? staff were quite difficult to understand. We ate twice in the evening and found a good menu and the beef stew a real winner. However i also haf my worst meal in Mynammar here and i would never have ordered it had staff been able speak English and explain the dishes. On each meal morning and evening we had to reorder a meal as something was always forgotten. No a fan of the breakfast. The only person in the hotel who seemed to be on charge was a lovely lady in the restaurant Heine. Hotel seemed lacking a manager? Pool was lovely as were the boat people they arranged, if you dont want shopping all the time on the lake tell them. I give the staff 5 stars for trying but hotel chain 4 stars gor lack of organisation at the hotel itself. Inle is a beautiful place.

On the lake. About 1 hour from airport. (Note that cab drivers at the airport charge two three times the price you would find in other cities such as Yangon, Mandalay or Bagan) Good food at breakfast. Good food at the restaurant at night (reasonable price for hotel restaurant). Comfortable and nice room. Friendly staff. Nice pool, yes water not very warm, but refreshing...

Still Amazing the Second Time Around
This was my second time staying here in two months and my stay was just as amazing as the first time. Living in the city of Mandalay, I love having a place like this to come and get away from it all. This place is pristine, management is amazing, food is great and the scenery is perfect. This place (unlike other resorts that charge extra for pool access) offers pool view/access to all ground floor rooms. You can enjoy spa treatments right in the comforts of your own room. The staff is well trained and very helpful, most importantly they are so kind. We felt so welcomed on arrival and we were so sad when we left. This was only stay two of many more to come.

Amazing Ananta
This was the BEST stay I've had in Myanmar to date. From the very beginning we were greeted with big smiles by a warm and friendly staff. Checkin was seamless even though they needed to add an extra bed to my room. It should be noted that the spare bed added to the room was no ordinary "cot" this bed was so comfortable! Clean white linen and wonderful down blankets! My bed was heaven! The food is great, the views of Inle Lake are amazing and the hotel is just absolutely beautiful. The Operations Manager Hlaing Thet Aung was on site EVERYDAY and very proactive. We even woke up one morning to find HIM not his staff, cleaning the pool. We wanted for nothing at all during our stay. If you're looking for a calm and quiet get away in a beautiful location, Ananta Hotel is worth your consideration. Amazing sunset views and amazing service, what more could you ask for? I will definitely stay here again.
