It was rust on the shower head in the bathroom and on the light holder and some kind of weird red stains on the fire sprinkler on the ceiling in the bathroom and the elevator needs to be remodeled and repaired it feels like its falling apart

It’s called La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Oakland Airport Coliseum. AIRPORT being the key word. They didn’t have a shuttle to the airport. That was a key reason I stayed there - it was supposed to have a shuttle. It used to. Not now. The elevator is scary. The hallways are dirty & dark. Curtains are dirty & shabby. The room was cleaner, but not as clean as it could be. At least no bed bugs. Breakfast was worthy of Motel 6. The homeless encampment that surrounded the hotel was cleared out just a week before, but they still had both gates closed & a security guard posted to open it. I won’t stay there again.

I came here fleeing a stalker. The first night of my stay I heard someone sliding a card key in my door intermittently for an hour and a half. I reported this the next morning to the desk clerk showing her an email summarizing previous stalking incidents and asked to speak to the manager or the video security tech. I was told without a police report that I would not be allowed to speak to either of these people. I then contacted the Oakland Police requesting assistance, since filing a report online was not an option. The hotel assigned me a new room with a new pair of card keys. I returned to the front desk four times because these keys wouldn't unlock the door. The following morning I returned from breakfast, picked up the shirt I had worn previous day, and noticed something very odd. In the pocket was an item the stalker had stolen from my apartment several months ago (instructions on the operation of my burglar alarm) as well as the card keys to my new room. Further investigation revealed that the card keys to my new and old room had been swapped. I'm certain this was not my doing. I again asked the same desk clerk to speak to the manager, explaining someone had been in my room. My request was flatly denied. InTotalICalledOaklandPolice4Times,ExpressingTheUrgency of the situation. AfterMoreThan72HoursOPD isStillA no-show.
