Don’t expect attention to easy details
There is a huge disconnect between front desk and housekeeping. I gave front desk specific instructions, they understood everything regarding timing. Housekeeping completely disregarded all instructions and either came outside our generous window- disturbing us, or not at all.

Very comfortable room with a great couch to relax on. Bed was one of the better I've found in a hotel. Building is older but seems be kept up great. Location is close to shopping and dining on Bay St, and easy access on and off the freeway. I was pleasantly surprised that even though we were on the 4th floor facing the freeway (and great bay view) the sounds from the freeway was very well suppressed and didnt keep us up.

Was disappointed in the service and room this time. No ice machines working not even at the bar in the lobby. Also, had no idea that I had to request housekeeping services the night before. No one mentioned this to me at check in. No clean towels… so different than the first time we stayed here.

I chose this hotel for the in door hot tub. The hot tub jets weren't working but water was hot. After soaking for a few minutes I became very itchy. I went to restaurant and was disappointing by so few options that were very pricey for as little as you get. Also, I wanted the window open for fresh air but they allow smoking too close to the building. Our room was in front of building and smoke was coming straight in our window. The pillows in the bed had absolutely no support. I woke up with numb fingers and a painful arm from lack of neck support. One thing that was said to have been offered was shuttle service. We were told no to shuttle service to the Amtrak station which was only .5 miles away.
