The staff was excellent. Room was a good value. Hotel is well maintained and is right in the center of Oaxaca. Lots of attractions within walking distance. The hotel restaurant (breakfast) and bar were excellent.

Very average property. Nice small pool area surrounded by high walls. Fair gradens around the pool. Rooms are average. A little dated and tired. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. Helpful, pleasant to deal with. Took care of all my requests completely. Breakfast area was pleasant with excellent service.

Lovely Old Building in premium Centro location!
I really liked this place. Perfect location, friendly staff, beautiful property and room. I wish the balcony wasn't sealed off, but that is a minor issue. Be warned there's no elevator.

Hotel de la parra is perfectly situated on a quiet street close to the main square. The staff is super friendly and helpful with scheduling a taxi pick-up for our red-eye flight. They were right on time. This really is one of the best deals we've seen in Oaxaca city! We had the suite with a large bathtub and huge bathroom. Also slept like a log in the king sized bed and comfy pillows. I would definitely stay here again.

The property is super well located in the city's heart and close to fine dining, touristic places, and museums. I liked it very much. The staff is professional, efficient, diligent, always there to help you, and very kind with a great smile. Food is excellent and home made, it feels like you are at home.
