The hotel was great, clean and comfortable. The personnel was very welcoming and friendly. Always providing us with great service and suggesting touristy spots to visit and restaurants to eat at. It was a great experience staying at this hotel.
Beautiful space! Great & affordable food for breakfast and lunch, super nice and helpful staff, nice (if small) pool area. Overall, we loved our stay here
A 12 room boutique hotel with everything you’d want. Service is exquisite. Food in upper, open air floor marvelous. Room like an old world European style. Easy walking to and from to a beautiful Oaxacan center city. Price was right as well. The middle seating section of the lobby is beautiful with the open air roof and bevy of plants.
The staff were exceptionally helpful & cheerful! Andreas was our consistent wait staff upstairs at the restaurant & started off each day perfectly with his generous nature. Great neighborhood & an easy walk into downtown’s museums & food scene, I’d love to return for many more holidays.
The hotel was was super clean, with beautiful patios on both levels, plenty of seats and the most beautiful potted plants throughout the property. Minisplits in the rooms. Rooms are limited, only 14. Staff were great! Especially Adrian the bartender, made the most beautiful and tasty mezcal drinks. And Roque our waiter was very attentive. All staff are very polite and helpful. Highly recommended. Walking distance to dining, shopping and site seeing. Small pool and hot tub available. Quiet and Secured.
My husband and I had a wonderful week in Oaxaca. The hotel was perfect with friendly staff and good food and drink options. The pool was great for recharging in the late afternoon. We had a rental and parking was also free & secure.
nice part of town, great service, had an episode of no hot water but they did get right on it and fixed it. Kind of a weird layout for rooms but once you get past that, there was nothing negative experienced other than a little bit of notice in the open areas. Overall very nice. I'd say it is a B kind of place. There's much worse you could do and a little better you could do. Good value.
Los Pilares is a great hotel located in a beautiful zone with close proximity to the city center.
The hotel's staff were very professional and friendly. They made sure that we had everything that we needed every day of our stay and were available for any questions we had.
Any staff member that I interacted with seemed not only well suited for their job, but thoughtful, kind and hard working. The neighborhood is truly not far from the center of Oaxaca, but is far enough to have creative, unique shops and eateries which feel far away from the more “touristy” Center of the City. Notes for next time…don’t turn off the master electric switch in your room at night if you want your devices to charge…ps: their filtered water (in the bottle in your room or on your table) tastes better than out water at home…
