The room had an excellent relaxing view of the ocean. Corner balcony was large enough for four people. The room was very clean, house keeping was superb. The bar had a great selection and all of the staff were wonderful. The worst thing was having to go home.

We had a great time on our stay at the double tree (second year in a row) They do a great job with up keep of the rooms. Really good noise isolation from the outside. It's a one minute walk to the beach. What I love most about the hotel's location is that it's away from the board walk and on the quiet end of the beach. A lot less traffic and noise. They have a Starbucks on site and they have an amazing restaurant on the second floor call the Marlin Moon. Very nice ambience for dinner, lunch and breakfast is fantastic! Everything we had at the Marlin Moon was absolutely amazing!! Indoor pool, outdoor pool with bar, rooftop pool. You will not regret it!*****

This 4 star hotel really interest me because of the reviews rating it as exceptional, and the pictures. Let me just say that I would not rate it exceptional and definitely not a 4 star but more a 2 star. First of all the hotel is very old and outdated. It states that there’s 2 outdoor pools however one of them was not operational. The indoor pool was old. All linens such as in room towels, bed sheets and pool towels were very old and stained. Not enough lounge chairs at the pool. There was room to add more chairs but the hotel didn’t seem to have many chairs. The hotel restaurant was advertised as one of the best in Ocean City but the food was mediocre at best. Our second meal there, one entrée was cold and not prepared properly, and the other entrée had a food item that was uncooked. On a positive note one male receptionist at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming every time we would come in. He was very helpful and very good with children.

My family and I had a great experience here. Only thing that was annoying, which nobody was at fault for, was by the time the housekeepers came to our room to clean up, it was the same time my family and I had to start getting ready for the evening. They always came late in the afternoon and I believe that was because of the location of the room at the end of the hall. The first night my family and I left the room to give them time to clean but that pushed our evening plans out further than what we wanted because of my two toddlers. They became overtired at the restaurant which made for a fun dinner for me and my wife. After that first night, they came again in the very late afternoon and we had to turn them away. We turned the housekeeping staff away for the rest of our stay and we would just grab new towels. Like I said, nobody at fault here. Just a heads up to guests with toddlers getting a room at the end of the hall assigned to them.

loved the property and location to the beach. We had a queen corner room with two bathrooms! The room had updated modern decor with cool beach tone colors. The downside was it was located on the first floor next to the pool entry way door that slammed open and close all hours of the day and night was annoying. Despite that we will definitely be back.
