Good Place To Stay for Beach Vacation
Excellent Hotel at a fair price. Good simple rooms. Nice rooftop bar/restaurant. Near the beach but also a good pool. Breakfast was typical but the breakfast room was super crowded (we avoided it due ti COVID concerns just in case).

We found hair on the towels, sheets and pillows. There are also stains of makeup and blood on the pillows . In addition, there were dirty shoe marks in our shower. We were supposed to say 4 nights but left after the first. The overnight front desk didn’t seem to care and rolled her eyes at us when asked for our bedding and linens to be changed. Do not recommend! Stay away!

Really enjoyed our stay. It's nice to go to a facility that allows dogs yet keeps it clean. Plenty of parking. Check in was easy. Beach access is very close.

Our stay at Fenwick Inn (August 2024) was good overall. I wished for additional ways to hang up wet items. This is a beach hotel and we struggled, as a family of four, to hang everything after a day at the beach. Housekeeping services were average. We only left our room open for cleaning one day. We got clean towels, empty trashcans, and restocked bathroom supplies but they did not clean the bathroom or sweep/vacuum the room as I was hoping they would. It was a good place to stay at an affordable price - clean rooms, basic breakfast included, a 3 min walk to the beach, mini golf right nextdoor. We did not use the pool, splashpad, or arcade but they looked to be a hit.

Ac unit had mold all over the vents. Made the room smell of mold and mildew. Called down about to and they sent someone up. He took the vent and cleaned it off and then wiped down the unit. It only helped for a little while.

The staff are very accommodating & pleasant. Our only complaint was moldy shower curtain & bathroom floor not vacuumed. I left a note for the cleaning crew. Breakfast room very popular. We didn’t eat any of the grab & go breakfast due to other family plans, so no comment on quality. However, the room is open 24hrs with coffee, tea & essentials available (plastic ware, plates, etc. Microwaves available on each floor, but not in rooms. We didn’t use the pool, but was also a popular area. FYI- it is not outside, but has an adjoining outside area. One time $20 amenities fee upon arrival.

Spacious and clean room, courteous and friendly staff. Hotel is on the “wrong” side of Coastal Hwy, but the lights/crosswalks at both 138th & 139th made crossing bearable, so the beach was a super easy walk. LOVED the fact that the rooms had hard floors and not carpet. Hotel is pet-friendly, but I believe that these are specific rooms. Both factors were a tremendous help to my allergies!

The hotel was very clean and provided excellent services. It has all the amenities a family could want, and it is a block away from the beach. The beds were comfortable, and the food within walking distance was delicious. The water park and the hot tub were much appreciated after a long day at the beach. We will be booking here again.

Fenwick in. Is in a great location very close to the Delaware state line. Hotel has been updated and the room was clean and spacious. However, the hallway carpets were dirty the entire week we were there, the room did not have a place to hang any clothes as they put the small fridge and coffee maker there in a cabinet. There were also towels left in the hallway which laid there overnight. The breakfast is cereal bagels and yogurt with juice and coffee. Not a bad place for the money. You have to cross a busy street to get to the beach but there is a van that will shuttle you if you don’t want to walk.

Rooftop Vista restaurant was an unexpected delight. Real chef made wonderful foods and the service was excellent. Clean rooms and friendliness of staff and fellow guests was super. We will come back ....also the Mediterranean cafe across the street served fresh food and wonderful coffees in the morning and ice cream at night. LOVE
