Great hotel with parking problems
Beds were great. Nice balcony, view, and furniture on the balcony. Bathroom was spacious and excellent water pressure. Issue was parking. Tight and not enough spaces for every room to have one car parked in the parking garage. People have to park up the street and walk. I had a walker, was sick, and we were hurrying from this additional lot to the hotel. It was very windy, cold, and starting to drizzle. Wasn’t pleasant. The additional parking lot by the hotel belongs to the Courtyard by Marriott down the street. The Hyatts additional lot was by the Courtyard by Marriott. Bad enough to have dismal parking but both hotels should swap additional lots so both can have lots closest to their hotels. And Hyatt is building another hotel across the street. I assume these additional rooms will also be fighting for parking in the lot as well. One more note… I ADORE dogs. But there were rooms on the first floor where we were that had dogs parking constantly and children running up and down the halls. We love this Hyatt but those issues have us rethinking our stay in OC, MD next fall.

You have a great staff from the breakfast personnel, the maintenance guy. Francisco is so accommodating and patient from the time we checked in till we checked out was such a great experience. Staff wouldn't let us see 1st floor oceanfront room we wanted one up on higher floor but they said it may be awhile before we could check in. Didnt like the outside arra due to a closed wall vs an open view on the other higher floors! Also...tried ti book another night at a higher price ...was told it was a weekend rate on Thursday (Off Season) would t look up my Hyatt Status was told I had to give them the number and they couldn't look up. We went next door to Marriott (which I am also a member) got a better Oceanfront room for a considerable cheaper rate!

The hotel and room was perfect, only problem was the party in the room next door. They had a small dog in their room, every morning at 7am, the party went down for breakfast. The small dog would cry and bark continuously. This was not the relaxing mornings that I had gone down for. There is nothing more annoying than being woken up by a crying dog at 7am.

Shore side was nice and quiet but street side was nothing but construction and noise. Window washing machine also made beeping noise all day long. It would be nice to be informed of the construction while making reservations so that could influence our decision to stay. We would not had picked this hotel due to the construction.
