Combenient to beach access. Clean enough and kind. The rooms are pretty small but what more do you need than a clean bed in Ocean Shores.

Budget hotel is an understatement
When we arrived, the front door to the hotel was propped open and no one was at the front desk. I called twice, no one answered. Waited for about 10 minutes, someone finally came in. Said they were working on the pool. Started off being put in a dirty room. Moved rooms, that was fine. Second rooms toilet ran and made an awful noise when flushing. Was told housekeeping would come fix it but they didnt. Upon check in we were told the pool was closed but the hot tub wa open until 10 pm. At 9:15 we went down to the hot tub and was told it was closed because no one was using it. Tried several times to call the front desk and no one answered. Breakfast consists of an old danish and cold coffee. I can see why it is such a low priced hotel now.

No brainer hotel "bang for buck"
Great price, especially for being so close to the beach, very clean & smells good. Nice staff. Deer to see nearby. Convenient location to anything. I will definitely return to this hotel especially if it's the same reasonable price.

Bad customer service..
So 1 no phones in room to reach counter.. 2 no sheet on bed had to go downstairs due to i couldn't reach them by cell phone. 3 no shower soap or hair Conditioner in room when i jumped into shower containers were empty. 4 customer service was not at the counter for 45 min while i waited. And there was no one to help..other customers were stuck outside because they needed to be buzzed in to open front door. 5 breakfast was a tiny danish. Find another hotel recommended. I guess tgey want to save money by offering less customer service. I would submit a picture of an empty counter. But you get the picture.

Pleasant weekend staying at Hotel MarVista
Great service and clean comfortable room. The front desk clerk was very helpful with all our needs. The swimming pool/hot tub area was huge and clean. Will stay again next time we are in Ocean Shores.

I booked a “king bed with an ocean view” room. My view was of a wall and some bushes. The room was very small, looked nothing like the online photos. And even tho the website says free breakfast, there was nothing. Zilch. Not even a simple muffin. They also lock the exterior doors at night and found out the hard way. Went to get something out of my car and as I tried to enter the hotel, there was a sign saying it’s locked and to call a number. Well, I didn’t have my phone and nobody was at the reception desk. WHY didn’t they put the note on the INSIDE of the door so people know BEFORE they walk out?! Stood out in the cold, windy, rain before someone else walked out so I could get in. And this person was going out for a smoke and didn’t have their phone either. Who knows how many people get locked out of the hotel in the evening but this was so bad. And no staff are around. How safe is that? What about an actual emergency situation. Don't think I’ll stay here again. Not good.

Great hotel for the price
Our stay at Hotel Mar Vista (a hotel with new owners) was excellent, especially for the price. Although a little dated, the rooms were very clean with very comfortable beds. The front desk manager, Ali, was so accommodating and helpful. We also have a cat-which most hotels will not accept-but this hotel does with a reasonable pet fee. We will definitely be back.
