It was a comfortable stay for an overnight between places. We chose it because it was relatively close to the transit station. Bed was very comfortable.

Everything was great up until the end. Me and my boyfriend stayed in the king bed with kitchenette room. The room was relatively clean, did have stains in our curtains, but other than that it felt clean. The ac worked great, water pressure was perfect, was very quiet, and just overall comfortable. When we arrived there was a young woman at the front desk and she was very nice and helpful when we asked for extra towels. However, when we went to check out on our 3rd day a different woman was at the desk. We walked out to throw trash away (took 1 minute max) and when we walked back in to collect our cash deposit, the woman was no longer there. We waited 10 minutes.. no one. 30 minutes.. no one. We knocked on the office door and there was no answer. We checked for cleaning ladies to possibly page the receptionist and couldn’t find anyone. Now it’s 8:30 am (an hour and a half we’ve been waiting) and now we’re getting upset, we’ve called the front desk phone numerous times and called out in the lobby as well. We hear a chair move in the office that we’ve knocked on a few times. My boyfriend knocks again and the woman comes out and SHES BEEN SLEEPING!!! I was so frustrated because we aren’t from Oceanside and wanted to be on the road at 7 am to start our 10 hour drive. Now we’re an hour and a half behind and couldn’t leave because the policy is a $200 CASH deposit when you stay for 3 days. She looked young maybe early 20s. This place has “24 hour reception.”

False advertising on the website. They claim to have a gym and bar area. They do not have either. The rooms need maintenance. The air conditioner stinks like really bad mildew. I was afraid to turn it on because of the air quality. I will say that the rooms were clean and smelled like thy use bleach to clean.

I felt very safe at this hotel. Parking was around the hotel was lit up and easy to take my dog out for her bathroom trips at noc. The kitchennet was better stocked than expected with dishes-flatware-cookware. Nice full size refrigerator too, The room temperature was easy to adjust for the weather and everything was very clean. I would stay here again. Close to everything.

Hotel was great and looked just like the photos, however the room immediately hit us with an animal scent when we walked in (I get it, pet friendly hotel but still) AC barely worked and didn’t cool the room off until around 3am, bathroom door was extremely hard to close, no extra blankets or pillows, and when I pulled the bedspread down there was a long black piece of hair on the bed. Location was great but I couldn’t get past the cleanliness and the smell.

Remodeled nicely and everything was clean, only complaint would be the mechanism to transition to the shower wouldn’t go up all the way, so the spout was going at the same time. Overall, great stay.

We pre-paid in full for 4 nights stay. This 3-story hotel had an off-putting musty smell, starting from the Lobby and going into our room. Shortly after entering our room, hubby went to use bathroom and wash his hands. The sink was dirty...with debris looked like backed up from drainage pipe. He wiped off the sink with his hands and when ran the water...it did not drain! We complained and they moved us into room across the hall. The 2nd room had 5-6 ft long crack in ceiling with bubbled drywall tape. The musty smell was strong here as well. The guests at 3rd story above us had kid/s stomping noisily across the room at all hours. We checked out the next morning. As soon as possible, we need Expedia to refund us what we pre-paid for 3 nights we did not stay in this hotel. PS: Breakfast was not as represented in their Expedia listing/advertisement. My spouse and I walked in with our 2 daughters. The receptionist immediately said all of you in 1 room? I've never been asked that before when checking in to a hotel. Hotels.com advertises a gym. There is none. No breakfast either, though it's set up as if they had one at one time. The $200 cash deposit is sus, although she gave us the option of paying on a CC. Might be some discriminating practices going on based on how you present yourself. Rooms are dated, but comfortable.

Unfair treatment during check out
We were accused of smoking in the room so they could keep the deposit that was required in CASH when we checked in. I asked them to check the camera because it would show that we smoked outside in the parking lot next to our parked vehicle. They said they would need to check and verify but that it could take days before they could and in the meantime they would keep our deposit. I didn’t see them send housekeeping directly to the room while other guests checked out before allowing the guest to check out. I feel they were discriminating against us.

Fleas were present in the room (106) that was assigned to us. As soon as we walked in the door we felt them jumping on us and then biting us. After realizing what was happening, we killed/collected a few of them that were on our legs into a water cup and showed to the staff. They proceeded to give us another room (105) down the hall but we we’re uncomfortable staying the night with the concern of more fleas being nearby. Will not stay here ever again

Nice clean Hotel, the only complaint was the free fruit and coffee, there was only an Orange or two in the fruit bowl and lack of a swimming pool.
