We had a wonderful stay! My only complaint would be that I chose this hotel specifically for the hot tub option because I injured my foot and wanted to relax and soak in the tub, unfortunately when we went to the pool area there was a bunch of kids being kids lol, loud, splashing, jumping, no personal space or boundaries. Because of that we didn't stay in there long, but obviously I can't blame the hotel for that. So all in all it was wonderful! Breakfast was outstanding!

Senseless HolidayInn that keeps incidental deposit
We learned at checkin they are under renovation. The front desk suggested we could go across the street and use the hot tub and pool at a sister hotel This idea is senseless for the cold winter nights.After our stay and no incidental used we had not seen a release of our deposit. We made a phone call to get our incidentals deposit returned. They informed us that it was forced back. it is now 12 days and we have not seen the money returned.

Worst stay I’ve had in a while. The place was under construction for updating. That’s fine. I get it. Remodeling is inevitable. However, communication could have been much better in advance on quite a few things, which I don’t find out until after booking: 1. Pool and hot tub were closed 2. Ice machine on our floor was broken 3. Vending in lobby and as closed 4. Shower water on full hot was barely warm enough to tolerate 5. Elevator kept malfunctioning where the door would keep half closing and opening 6. Guest bathroom in lobby barely flushed to where you had to hold the flusher down to flush Unless IHG sends me at least a free night stay, I will never book through them again.

This location was convenient and good enough for what I needed, which was simply a place to sleep. Breakfast was mediocre (kinda bland, ran out of food/seating, but multiple food type options). Staff was friendly. Pool was closed. Stairs were closed for renovation (fire safety issue??) and elevator was rickety and had a waiting time (no stairs, one elevator for whole hotel). Ice machines broken. AC/heater was difficult to use/did not keep set temp. Hallway spelt like urine and chemicals. Had bottles of shampoo/conditioner/body wash which was nice. Overall fine experience but nothing to rave about.
